When Shen Weiyi stood outside the boys’ dormitory with the soup, the sun had already set, leaving behind only a rouge-colored sky that was quickly darkening.
Shen Weiyi took out her phone and called Sheng Ting, but it showed that his phone was turned off.
Thinking that he must have finished his classes by now, she opened WeChat, found Shi Yu’s contact, and asked him to relay a message to Sheng Ting to come downstairs.
Shi Yu replied quickly, saying that Sheng Ting hadn’t returned to the dormitory.
Shen Weiyi then requested Shi Yu to come downstairs and take the soup up for Sheng Ting.
