"Brother Yi, wanna play basketball after class?" As the last class of the afternoon was about to end, Li Yue turned his head to call out to Jiang Zhiyi.
"Not going." The latter, head down and busy with something, responded without looking up.

"She’s not interested in basketball games." Jiang Zhiyi said, while continuing to text Shen Weiyi.
Li Yue: "The point isn’t to watch the game, it’s to watch you. How many of those girls actually like basketball? They’re just there to see Brother Yi looking cool on the court."
"Not in the mood; I’m about to lose my girlfriend anyway. Why the hell would I play basketball?" Jiang Zhiyi replied impatiently.
Li Yue widened his eyes in shock and curiosity, tinged with a bit of gossip, "Little fairy is mad at you? Girls, man, just coddle them a bit and they’ll be fine."
"You know shit. She wants to break up with me," Jiang Zhiyi frowned, then glared at him, "And it’s ’wife,’ remember?"
"Alright, alright, ’wife,’ happy now? But honestly, girls say things like that just to test you. Just sweet-talk her a bit, and I guarantee she’ll stop being mad at you."
In the past, when that girl got mad, a soft word or two calling her ’sister’ usually got her to forgive him, but this time he was really unsure.
