The next morning, Shen Weiyi had just finished breakfast when she received a call from Sheng Ting, telling her he had arrived.
She immediately ran out and saw Sheng Ting, who was rarely dressed up formally, standing at the villa’s entrance with a big bunch of stuff in his hands.
He showed her a light smile when he saw her.
Shen Weiyi couldn’t help but raise a smile and asked, "Why are you here so early?"
Shen Juanzhi had come back late the night before; she hadn’t had a chance to mention today’s meeting to him.
Glancing at Sheng Ting’s attire today, she had to admit that a good-looking person like him looked even more handsome in formal wear. Even now, she found it hard to look away from him.
"I’m visiting formally for the first time; I was worried that being late would be rude," Sheng Ting explained.

"Alright, it’s good you think that way," Shen Weiyi said, relieved to hear his response. She then took his hand and walked towards the house.
"Come in first; I’ll go call my dad!" Shen Weiyi handed him a pair of brand-new slippers and then headed to Shen Juan’s room.
Shen Juan lived a rich nightlife and tended to arrive at his company rather late.
Shen Weiyi stood at the door and knocked. After a while, she saw Shen Juan come out, slippers dragging and hair tousled.
He clearly looked like someone who had been abruptly woken up from an unrestful sleep.
