Jiang Zhiyi looked at her with a complex expression in his eyes; he knew that the girl was just dealing with him perfunctorily.

Xu Chenxi caught up to him, blocking his path and said, "Even if you don’t want to see me, don’t you want to see Uncle Jiang? It’s been a long time since you’ve been home. Uncle Jiang might not say it, but I can tell he misses you."
"No need, you three enjoy your lives!" Jiang Zhiyi said without turning back and walked away.
He had long since lost any attachment to that home, and here too, there was no reason for him to stay.
