Especially his gaze, which was somehow discomforting.
Shen Weiyi slightly furrowed her brows, her impression of him plunging dramatically.
"She’s still a young girl, ignorant of many things. We’ll have to rely on your guidance and care in the future, President Lu," Second Uncle Shen said cheerily, seemingly oblivious to the other’s inappropriate remarks.
The latter’s gaze became even more brazen, "Vice President Shen, you’re too modest. As the saying goes, a tiger does not father a dog of a daughter. Younger Mr. Shen is so capable, his daughter surely won’t lag far behind him."
Second Uncle Shen glanced in Shen Weiyi’s direction and said, "President Lu, you’re flattering her too much, she still has a long way to go."
