On the other side, after disembarking from the airplane, Shen Weiyi didn’t rush to contact the partner but first went to the hotel.
H city, situated in Jiangnan, is a true Jiangnan water town. Shen Weiyi had always wanted to visit for many years.
This was also one of the reasons she immediately agreed upon knowing the business trip would take her to H city.
After checking into the hotel, Shen Weiyi took out a stack of documents from her bag and dialed the contact number listed on them.
Upon learning she was from Shen Technology, the other party was very enthusiastic but then said that their project manager was currently busy. They promised to confirm the schedule as soon as possible and to contact her later.
After the call, Shen Weiyi grabbed her cellphone and bag and stepped out the door, planning to browse the nearby area first.

As soon as the call connected, an aggressive female voice came through.
Shen Weiyi glanced at the number, confirmed it was an unknown number, and hung up directly.
The next second, the phone rang again. The person on the other end seemed even more irritated, her voice several notches louder, "Shen Weiyi, you actually hung up on me."
Shen Weiyi recognized the voice but wasn’t sure, so she deliberately asked again, "Who is this?"
"I am Chen Rong." Came the response from the other end, through gritted teeth.
"I am in H city right now. Where are you? I’ll come find you. We’ll do this inspection together." Chen Rong had decided to take the business trip last minute, in a rush and hadn’t booked a hotel in advance.
Shen Weiyi gave her the name and address of the hotel she was staying at.
After hanging up the phone, it was just in time for her turn.
The elderly vendor in front of her asked with a smile, "What would you like, miss?" Shen Weiyi pointed at the shop’s sign and had the vendor pack her a portion before she took a taxi back to the hotel.
As soon as she got out of the car, she saw a woman approaching her with an aggressive demeanor.
"Shen Weiyi, are you purposely messing with me?"
Chen Rong had rushed over in such a hurry that she hadn’t had time to prepare anything, just grabbing a few clothes before hurrying over. Because she was rushing to catch the plane and walking too fast, she had accidentally twisted her ankle, which could only mean her mood was less than ideal.
As soon as she spotted Shen Weiyi, she looked as if she’d seen her enemy, with eyes glaring as if she wanted to devour her.

"What’s wrong?" she asked, trying to keep her patience.
