Summer Sutton was held in his embrace, her body stiff.
"I just remembered, I haven’t prepared for tomorrow’s lessons yet. How about you take a shower first!" Slipping out from his grasp, she dashed to the sofa and picked up a book, pretending to be absorbed in it.

Their eyes met, and Summer was momentarily stunned. Trying to act as if nothing happened, she continued to glance down at her book, but Adrian’s distinctively cool voice suddenly sounded, "Your book is upside down."
Summer was dumbfounded, looking at the book in her hand, feeling somewhat at a loss with embarrassment.
"I was just, just looking for a bookmark, to see if it’s in this book." She was quite good at making excuses for herself, shaking the book to explain with calm composure.
"You were staring at the same page for quite a while!" Adrian exposed her lie.
Summer was dumbfounded again.
Adrian’s cold eyes narrowed slightly as he walked over to her unhurriedly, tossing the book aside and trapping her against the sofa, "If you can’t read, shall we do something else?"
His tall frame loomed over her, pressing her so deeply into the sofa that she felt overwhelmed.
Even though she was 166 cm tall, in front of him, she seemed incredibly petite.
Her body curled up, pitiful like a trapped little rabbit.

"I’ll go take a shower first!" She pushed against him, trying to wriggle out from underneath, but before she could slide off the sofa, a strong force grabbed her wrist, leaving Summer stunned, and before she could react, she was pulled back onto the sofa.
His grip was strong, leaving Summer frozen on the sofa, her mind buzzing.
She didn’t know what Adrian intended to do. She had some out-of-place thoughts, but after Adrian leaned down, he mischievously bit her.
"Adrian, what are you doing?" Summer cried out in pain, raising her hand to hit him.
Adrian released her himself, "Starting from tonight, Miss Sutton should best get used to her new identity."
"Get up first!" Summer felt extremely uncomfortable under his gaze, her eyes darting left and right, unsure where to look.
