The director of the filming circled around Summer Sutton several times, scrutinizing her from head to toe, no matter how he looked, he felt she had great potential for stardom.
Feeling the urge to act, he started to persuade her, "Hey, little girl, any interest in acting? I can help you!"
Summer Sutton chuckled, glanced at Adrian Walyon not far ahead, and shook her head, "I don’t have any objections, but my other half won’t allow it!"
Adrian Walyon was less than five meters away from her, clearly heard her words, turned his gaze towards her, leisurely watching her, and his lips unconsciously curved into a smile.
He liked Summer Sutton calling him that way, sweet and playful.
The director followed Summer Sutton’s gaze and upon seeing Adrian Walyon’s face, he regretfully shook his head.
"Forget it then, forget it! Your other half is not someone to mess with!"
It’s known by anyone who knows Adrian Walyon’s name that the one around Summer Sutton wasn’t easy to deal with.
But the director’s tone was more of teasing towards Summer Sutton.
After setting this matter aside and leaving quietly, Summer Sutton wanted to continue acting with Ariella Sawyer, but Ariella snatched the script from her hand and pushed her, "Your other half has been here for quite a while, better not keep him waiting, hurry up and go!"
She too mimicked the director’s tone and joined in teasing her.
Both kept referring to "your other half" every time.
Summer Sutton’s heart felt like it was bubbling with countless pink bubbles, sweetly happy.
"I’ll go first then!" She waved to Ariella Sawyer, ran towards Adrian Walyon.
Just as she approached, Adrian Walyon pulled her hand, dragged her into a corner of the set, pressing her against the wall behind, his lips kissed her hand, "Missed me?"
They had only been apart for less than a day, what is there to miss?
Summer Sutton clearly didn’t miss him, busy working after arriving at the set, where’s the time to think about anything else?
However, she knew what answer he wanted to hear.
"Miss, miss, miss, we’ll talk after leaving here!" Compliantly saying it several times, she pushed him towards the car.
Adrian Walyon felt her attitude was particularly perfunctory, frowned, somewhat dissatisfied.
"How much did you miss me?" Relentlessly, he pursued the question.
Summer Sutton hesitated for a moment, thought about it, and awkwardly said, "A lot."
"A lot means how much?" Adrian Walyon still wouldn’t let it go.
"Means thinking about you all day today." Summer Sutton thought discussing such a matter outside the car was too noticeable, reached past Adrian Walyon’s waist to open the car door, and without caring much, forcefully pushed him inside.
Following him in, she sealed the car door shut.
"Let’s talk after we go back!" She urged him again, but Adrian Walyon showed no intention of driving.
Leaning towards her, he pressed her between himself and the seat, quietly gazing at her for a moment, then slowly uttered, "Missing me so much, what do you want to do with me?"
Summer Sutton was seriously stunned by him.
How could he say something that easily made people think the wrong way?
As if she wanted to do something inappropriate with him.
She was clearly coerced into admitting she missed him!
Summer Sutton stared blankly at him, racking her brain over how to respond appropriately.
Wouldn’t she be bullied by him doing something reckless in the car if her answer didn’t please him?
Summer Sutton felt a little anxious.
Seeing her befuddled expression, Adrian Walyon gleefully curved his lips.
