Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering! Chapter 76

Adrian Walyon always thought that with Summer Sutton’s personality, who knows how long it would take for her to come to her senses.

Now it seems, she’s not that clueless after all.

To have the fortune of having him as a husband, it would be foolish to give him away to someone else—even a pig wouldn’t do something this stupid!

He walked towards her step by step, his dark eyes scanning her delicate face. Adrian leaned closer, pinched her petite jaw with his fingertips, and warned, "Remember what you said today. Dare to go back on your word and see what happens?"

"The world is so small, where would I get the nerve to provoke you?" Summer Sutton met his gaze with a clear look in her eyes.

If she angered Gina Sutton, at most there would be trouble at the company, but Gina couldn’t really do anything to her.

But if she dared to provoke Adrian Walyon, she might have nowhere in the world to hide.

"Good to know." Adrian was quite satisfied with her realization, and he withdrew his hand. Follow current novels on ⓝovelFire.net

"Wait for me for half an hour, and we’ll have dinner together!" Tossing out this sentence, he headed back to the meeting room to continue his meeting.

Summer Sutton quietly sat and waited for him in the office for a while. At 5:30 in the evening, the two left the office building together.

The next day was Friday.

When Summer Sutton woke up, it was eight o’clock.

"Good morning, Miss Sutton!" The maid walked in with a bouquet of fresh regula hydrangeas, smiled, greeted her, and placed the flowers on a small table by the bed.

"These were prepared for you by the young master." After explaining, the maid prepared a dress and a light coat for her beside the bed, then quietly left the room.

Summer Sutton turned her head to look at the flowers, picked them up.

She had known Adrian Walyon for several months now, and he rarely sent her flowers. This was considered the first formal gift.

A very fresh bouquet of regula, with dewdrops still glistening on the petals, obviously just picked from the garden.

In the bouquet, there was a small card. Summer Sutton picked up the card and was dumbfounded for a few seconds after reading the words written on it.

The words on the card were "Happy Birthday" in English.

The handwriting was smooth, beautiful, and elegant.

Summer Sutton stared at the card for a long time, her fingertips slightly warm.

Since her grandfather passed away, no one had remembered her birthday for many years.

In the years she spent studying and working part-time abroad, she often didn’t even remember this day herself.

Living alone, such a lively holiday like a birthday wasn’t suited for her.

If Adrian Walyon hadn’t sent the flowers, she wouldn’t have remembered her birthday this time either.

She was twenty now, a new stage, a new beginning.

From now on, there would be someone by her side, even though she didn’t know how far she could go with him.

Summer Sutton put the flowers away, got up, changed her clothes, washed up, and was ready to go downstairs, but she happened to run into Adrian coming up.

The room door opened, and leaning against the door frame, he gave her a leisurely once-over, "I’ve been waiting for you!"

"Waiting for me for what?" Summer Sutton was puzzled.

"Get the certificate!" Adrian Walyon said each word clearly and walked towards her, pulling her towards the door.

Summer Sutton passively followed behind him, belatedly recalling what he had said months ago.

Adrian Walyon had said that as soon as her birthday came, he would register the marriage with her.

Today was just right!

He walked quickly, pulling Summer Sutton into the car, driving away from Sutton Gardens with the wind, taking her straight to the civil registration office.

He did things swiftly and neatly. She had just reached the age eligible to register for marriage and had not even recovered from the shock of her birthday today when he had already taken her directly to the civil registration office.
