Yes, the Mystic Sect’s methods actually only reach to Refining Qi and Transforming God.
Simply put, the current concept of the Three Great Sects, although aware of the possibility of cultivating to a higher realm, such as the Three Venerables comprehending the Heavenly Dao, Shattering Void, and ascending to other realms, the specifics of how to shatter, how to ascend, and what the other realm is, remain widely debated and unclear.
After all, the Three Venerables actually left a lot of things unfinished, and then suddenly ’whoosh’, just Shattered Void and left, and no one returned to teach everyone how to get there.
Therefore, the current cultivators can only seek ’Enlightenment’ on their own, or in other words, find their own wild ways to ascend.
And due to different Daoist Hearts, different natural talents, and different Immortal Fates, the path they realize mostly can only be walked by themselves, basically lacking repeatability. Currently, it seems only the ’Feather Transformation Immortal’ path seems a bit simpler, ’Feather Transformation Flying’, relatively more people have taken it, and reportedly, some ’Feather Transformation Immortals’ can return from the Immortal World.
Of course, this simplicity is still relative to other forms of ’Enlightenment’. Currently, the ceiling of the Three Great Sects is still Divinity Transformation, everyone is stuck there with no way forward.
However, according to the Ancient Dao, there is actually a path.
The inheritance of Kongsang Mountain states that the Taiji Realm is not unique and solitary, beyond the heavens, there actually are myriad realms. The Taiji Realm is just one among countless others, and starting from the Taiji Realm, it is possible to ascend to realms higher than the Thirty-three Heavens. Only after reaching those Thirty-three Heavens can one achieve Harmonization.
Therefore, the ancient method of Refining God and Returning to Void is essentially similar across various teachings, all teaching how to undergo Primordial Spirit Emergence, how to project directionally, how to use the setup of formations and spells, to harmonize the Primordial Spirit Dao Body and Divinity into one, transcending from the material realm to the thirty-three heavens beyond the sky.
Thus, every ’god’ refined by the Dao body in the various branches of the Ancient Dao, actually each represents the projection of ’Dao’ from the various realms of the Thirty-three Heavens. So, only by going can one be accepted by the ’Dao’, whereas staying here the ’Taiji Dao’ simply disapproves of you, constantly targeting you...
Alright, in the words of Chen Xuantian, it is as if you first model on the Taiji Realm’s local server, ensuring that the hardware corresponding to the server number 33 can run, and then upload the program to the number 33 server, and once there, casually download (body seizing) into a Dao body, is that not the way?
But if you wrote a program and do not go, instead messing around locally, the local server identifies you as a virus, conducting periodic eradication, determined to take you down.
Of course, the issue is that among the Thirty-three Heavens, going to any day is no easy task, because the outer heavens are vast, even if the Primordial Spirit Emerges, instantaneously traveling over immense distances is still insufficient, not to mention the outer voids, which are extremely perilous, who knows what is out there, and if you cannot find the way, or forget the path back, losing the Dao body, well then don’t even speak of Harmonization, you are likely to become a wandering soul, drifting eternally in the void, eventually dissipating completely.
The solution of the Ancient Dao is to find a springboard between ’God’ and ’Dao’, called ’Void’.
’Void’ naturally stands in contrast to ’Reality’, generally depicting a realm neither real nor existent, seemingly real yet seemingly illusory, without the perception of self or others.
The exact cultivation process is naturally complex, requiring hundreds or thousands of efforts, which we shall skip, but ultimately, it involves the reverse refining of ’Qi’, refining the Dao body Nascent Soul, originally refined from ’Qi’, back into a gaseous state, yet not ’Qi’, but rather written with your Primordial Spirit’s information ’Void’.
This cannot be seen in the physical form, indeed unrepresentable by ’physical’, naturally not easy to understand. However, just from the description of ’Void’, it bears a striking resemblance to the Blood God’s Son, a life form perfectly combining essence, qi, and spirit, only more advanced.
After all, one can only begin to refine ’Void’ after Divinity Transformation, and it has transcended the limitations of so-called blood or biological material knowledge entities, indeed it is not easy to classify purely as a gas, perhaps ’Void’ is closer to the existence of a special form of quantum life formed after the transition of material particles?
So, in brief, the thought process of Returning ’Void’ is to use the ’Void’ form as a springboard to jump to other planes, then refine ’Void’ anew to Harmonize ’Dao’, transforming from the quantum state back to a material state of ’God’, completing the ultimate transcendence.
Of course, just one person, no, one ’Void’, wanting to explore the void is insufficient. After all, the void is vast, the universe boundless, beyond the heavens lies heaven, beyond the Thirty-three Heavens lies more heavens, beyond which there remains infinite unknowns.
How can a single ’Void’ explore such terror?

The ancient Dao cultivators rely on Taixu as their boat, traversing the universe, crossing time and space, exploring the myriad realms.
And the cultivators of Refining ’God’, can at any moment, obtain updates on new worlds, new heavens, new Great Daos from Taixu, selecting the new heavens they wish to venture.
The so-called ’Thirty-three Heavens of Ancient Times’, were each explored one after another, collectively by Taixu, revealing new worlds.
But that was a long, long time ago, before the Immortal Venerables, before the Demon Clan, before the ancient Daoist inheritances.
