Chapter 587: Mysterious man, who exactly are you?
Looking at the food in the bowl, Camila Walker’s face was expressionless.
These days, she knew everything about her father’s investigation into Emily Walker’s background.
It seemed that they had made up their minds to acknowledge Emily as their own daughter.
So, would she still have a place in this family as their “adopted daughter”? Would they still dote on her?
No doubt even the servants would begin to look down on her, wouldn’t they?

“Camila, even if we acknowledge Emily, you’re still our daughter,” Angela Reid said, putting down her bowl and chopsticks, and rubbing the back of Camila’s head.

“But have you confirmed it?” Camila no longer felt the love from Angela’s gestures.
Even though the actions were the same as before, Camila felt a change, as if things were no longer as they once were.

“Not yet. We’re supposed to go to the hospital today for DNA testing,” Angela said with a smile, unable to wait.
“Eat up, and we’ll all go together,” Baxter Walker said, not wanting to distance himself from his daughter any further.
Maybe if Camila went with them, she could learn to let go and live in harmony with Emily.
However, the couple failed to notice the flash of resentment in Camila’s eyes when she heard about the DNA test.
In the morning, the Walkers, a family of three, arrived at the hospital they had agreed upon yesterday.
It wasn’t long before Baron Stuart and Emily arrived as well.

However, just as the results were about to be announced, someone approached her at the hospital.
“This is you in the pictures, isn’t it?”
A stack of photos was thrown onto the table, and Dr. Taylor couldn’t help but break out in a cold sweat as she looked at herself in them.
She looked up at the mysterious woman in a duckbill cap and big-eye sunglasses, unable to make out her features.
“Who are you? Why do you have these things?”
“You don’t need to know who I am. Just tell me the DNA test results for Baxter Walker and Emily.”
