"Are you sure you don’t want me to drop you?" Killian whispered in Kate’s ear, standing in front of his car. I stood far away from them of course and mouthed barfing each time he glanced my way but I heard them anyway.
"I’m certain. Hazel and I need to have some girl time." Kate beamed.
I don’t know why that caused me to roll my eyes. I am more than relieved we won’t be going with him. The last thing I want is to be in the back seat in his car while watching both of them in front. The last thing I want to do is get involved in anything that’ll leave me remember that night.
"I can call an uber if you’d like. Leaving you alone at night isn’t something I want to get fond of." His voice is deep.
That caused me to glance at them. Kate leaned higher and pressed her lips on his. His arms are wrapped around her waist.
A pinch of jealousy resurfaced through me and I scoffed. I shouldn’t scoff, not over something .
"I’m fine. We don’t need one, Kil, but the kind gesture is appreciated."
"Call me when you get to your dorm." Killian said. I looked away. The last thing I want is to watch my best friend smooch a stranger I slept with.
Why is my life so unfair?
I took a deep breath in and sighed. It’s not. I’m just hung up over his good dick. That made me sneer.
The sound of heels hitting the floor slid in my ears as Kate walks up to me. "So a teacher, huh?" I teased.
"The very best!" Kate responded. "God, these heels are killing me!" She complained and crouched to take them off. Now she’s barefoot and walking with me. I have no idea where we’re going but I’m definitely still walking since I’m with her.
I giggled at her answer. Just what do I do with her?
"Kinky. Is that even allowed?" I taunted. If I remember correctly, I doubt students are meant to have any special relationships with their professors or anyone working in the school they’re at.
Kate leaned closer to me and placed her arm on one shoulder. "If there’s something I love more than romance, it’s taboo." She hiccuped. Oh my, she’s drunk.
I tapped her nose with a finger. "Cute. Just don’t get expelled."
That made her burst out laughing. "Expelled? He’ll be leaving with me, that’s for sure."
Okay, I laughed at her cruel humour.
"I’ll gladly get expelled to be with that dude. Have you seen his ass?" She looked back while pointing like he was still there and whispered a scream.
Oh I have. Way too much of it.
"Have you seen his abs? Felt his arms?" Kate is hyper and overly excited.
I would rather not reply to this. I giggled instead. "Naughty."
"That has become my middle name!" She cackled. I love that she’s happy. Although guilt is eating me up here, I just can’t bring myself to be honest.
"Why am I not surprised?" I ask as a matter of factly.
"Because you know me." She burped and her body came falling forward. I rushed to hold her up.
"Oops. Careful!" I murmured, trying to get her to lean on me. For a second, I forgot how weighty she is.
"Speaking of which, what about that anonymous man?"
"That will be a conversation for another day. When you’re not drunk." I laughed. I guess girls’ after party night out is cancelled. I should call a cab.
"I won’t forget this, señorita!"
I don’t expect her to. I brought my phone out of my purse, searching for the app. We need an Uber.
"By the way, you’ll give me a refund for the Uber." I said, calling the Uber driver. The line is still ringing.
"Fine by me!" Her palm clapped my shoulder gently.
I am still so fucking hard. Fuck!
I huffed and fell on my sofa. Pointing at the ceiling and making his presence obvious is my dick. I groaned, leaning my waist forward with my legs spread apart, deep in thought.
My mind slipped back to the dinner. It slipped to Hazel... Then Kate. A sigh escaped my lips. It has been a long night. I raised my fingers up my face to massage my forehead. A very long night indeed. Might as well shower before doing anything I don’t want to.
I forced my body off the sofa and made my way steadily up the stairs to my room. The first thing I did when I got in my room was take my clothes off, put them neatly in my laundry basket which is in my closet, and head to my bathroom.
Now I’m in the cubicle. I twisted the shower handle and warm water ran down my skin. That made an exhale slip out of my lips. I have a lot of things I need to take care of and I can’t afford to be distracted. Not even a little bit.
My fingers threaded my wet hair, pushing them all backwards. Breathing heavily out of my mouth, I traced my gaze down my body.
I don’t have time for this.
