"You’re addicted to being knocked down, aren’t you." Su Wanxin chuckled bitterly with her head down: "You haven’t met my dad, have you?"
"Met him twice before, but it was in public and that was a long time ago."
We exchanged a few pleasantries, and also talked about potential cooperation projects. All in all... Fu Shihan felt that the impression he left might not have been too high.
But who could have predicted back then that he would be meeting his future father-in-law? If he had known in advance, he definitely wouldn’t have displayed the ’unscrupulous businessman’ act so vividly.
Fu Shihan reflected on the past with a bitter taste in his mouth, and brought up the topic of marriage again.
"Wanwan, let’s get married."
Su Wanxin: "...No."
Su Wanxin refused quietly: "Who wants to marry you."
Secretly dating is one thing, but secretly getting married? No way, I’m not doing this.
"Then who do you want to marry?" Fu Shihan raised an eyebrow, not taking her words seriously. "I’ll prepare the ring when we get back, since you’ve already accepted one, you’ll definitely accept a second."
"I won’t!" Su Wanxin snorted coldly: "The last ring had a tracker in it, who knows what weird stuff the next one will have."
She glanced at the ring again, feeling aggrieved. "When I get home, I’m taking it off and never wearing it again!"
Fu Shihan dug his own grave and started to panic: "You can’t take it off!"
"I can’t take it off just because you say so? I’m not that obedient." Su Wanxin sang a different tune, noticing that the cars ahead finally started moving, she urged him to drive and not to talk about this anymore.
She obviously belongs to the type who flirts and then runs away, kicking things off with marriage but not willing to stick it out till the end, which isn’t very nice.
If it were anyone else, Fu Shihan would mock them to death. But when it’s her, he can’t even express a single word of dissatisfaction.
Fu Shihan’s car followed closely behind Su Yao’s, arriving at the Su Mansion one after the other. When the car stopped, Fu Shihan looked askance at the building before him.
"Stop looking, hurry back to the hotel and be careful on the road." Su Wanxin saw what he was doing and let out a secret chuckle: "Don’t expect me to take you in, my parents are both home and will definitely kick you out."
"I didn’t bring any gifts, so I definitely can’t go inside." Fu Shihan was well aware of this, "Go on up, I’ll leave right away."
Su Wanxin nodded her head and unbuckled the seatbelt. She then thought for a moment and asked him: "When are you going back?"
"I don’t know, haven’t planned it. At least until I make you happy, otherwise this trip would be pointless."
He left a lot of company matters to come here, he definitely expected some sweet rewards before he could leave. He remembered the video in that email, the piece of lace fabric he had held, and felt a tightness in his throat.
Su Wanxin didn’t know what he was thinking, but she sensed that his gaze on her had suddenly become... ardently strange.
Fu Shihan slowly scanned her from head to toe, wanting that thing too, but he knew if he asked for it, he would never get it.
No idea how he got it before...
"Y-you jerk."
Su Wanxin realized he might be thinking of something lewd, blushed slightly, cursed, and then turned to get out of the car.
Fu Shihan waited until she entered the house before leaving. He calmed down in the car for a few minutes, getting his thoughts together, before starting the car and driving away.
Inside the house, Su Wanxin and Su Yao were sorting out their spoils of the day.
In the dressing room, Su Yao stole several glances at Su Wanxin, finally unable to hold back, she asked: "Why did he come?"
"He came looking for me, I haven’t really been in touch with him since I got back."
