Wanxin realized what he was talking about and immediately turned her head, pretending to look at the room’s decor and layout.
Fu Shihan leaned on the other side of the sofa, not rushing or annoyed, just watching her, waiting for her.
His gaze slowly wandered over her body, moving downwards, the fondness in his heart almost spilling over.
"If you don’t want to answer that, I have other options, do you want to hear them?"
He kindly gave her a choice between two, Wanxin turned her head back to look at him and nodded without thinking, "Yes!"
Fu Shihan picked up the TV remote from the table, turned on the TV, then looked down at his phone.
Wanxin was confused and didn’t understand what he meant until he cast a video from his phone onto the TV.
The person in the video was himself. Wanxin had seen the videos he had sent her before, but she had never seen this one.
She watched intently and focused.
She watched him in the wardrobe picking out clothes, watched him teasing and bantering with his future self. She watched him take off his clothes and change into a shirt, watched him walk to the tie cabinet, his movements suddenly stiffening.
Wanxin wondered what he had seen. But soon, she got her answer.
Fu Shihan in the video, took out the thing that mattered to him from the cabinet, and asked in a husky voice to the person off-screen, "Do you know what this is?"
Wanxin held her breath, looking at the black lace in his hand, her head buzzed, her face flushed red!
"My wife gave it to me, jealous?"
The person in the video was still talking, but Wanxin couldn’t listen anymore. She frantically looked at the person next to her, Fu Shihan was still watching her intently, smirking with raised eyebrows.
The video continued, and the Fu Shihan of the past said, "Let’s not record anymore," then turned and disappeared from the screen.
On the sofa, Fu Shihan kindly paused the video and then grabbed the person who tried to get up and run, pulling her back, asking, "Guess, what did I go to do?"
Wanxin: "...I don’t know."
"Shall I let you find out now?"
"No need!"
Fu Shihan smiled contentedly and said, "How about it, I still want a similar gift."
Wanxin really wanted to find a crack in the ground to crawl into, she lowered her head and thought silently, was she crazy in the past? How could she give him something so private?!
Fu Shihan firmly held her in his arms, asking her, "Do you agree to give me this, or agree to give me what we talked about last time, one choice, you decide."
The despairing choice, had she known, she wouldn’t have naively nodded her head in agreement earlier.
Wanxin continued to remain silent and feign death, Fu Shihan didn’t mind, talking to himself, "You really knew how to make me happy in the past, knew what kind of gifts I liked."
He lamented with melancholy, "Ah, I was really happy back then."
Is there any magic drug that could instantly mute someone? Wanxin really wished he would become mute!
"Baby, tell me, why did you give me..."
Before he could finish the next two words, Wanxin fiercely raised her head, her fierce stare forcing him to swallow the words back.
Fu Shihan watched her fierce yet cute expression, tried to hold back but couldn’t, and buried his head in her neck, chuckling lightly.
Wanxin, infuriated and embarrassed, struggled to push him away: "Let go of me! I want to go home!"
"No, I’m not done hugging yet," Fu Shihan cheerfully refused, "And, I haven’t gotten the answer I wanted yet."
