Wanxin stifled a laugh as she looked at the door, softly responding, "Mm, come in."
Entering the room, Su Yao placed the washed grapes and blueberries next to her, then just stood there watching her.
Wanxin looked up to meet her gaze for a moment, hearing her say, "I’m angry."
"Mm, I can see that."
Su Yao: "..."
Su Yao: "Then cheer me up!"
She noticed her anger but ignored her! Just like typical faux-sisterhood!
"How would you like me to cheer you up?" Wanxin asked with a faint smile, "Tell you about the man on the phone?"
"Yes!"
"Alright, but you also have to tell me how you really feel about Lu Ci. I want the truth."
Wanxin had her cornered, and as expected, after a moment, Su Yao bowed her head, too embarrassed to even look at her.
Su Yao walked to the couch and sat down, sulkily curling up in the corner. Wanxin got up, sat next to her, and took her hand, which Su Yao then forcefully pulled away.

"A lifetime commitment isn’t something to joke about for any smart person. If Lu Ci were that unreliable, he wouldn’t still be single by now.
