After dinner, Su Wanxin lay listlessly on the sofa, holding a thermos cup, and chatting absentmindedly with them.
"Mom, did you take on another case?"
Su Yao looked at Qi Ran, puzzled, as she hadn’t heard about any new work here when she left a few days ago.
Qi Ran glanced at her, denying: "I’m taking a few days off, just came to see you and Wanwan."
"Didn’t you and dad just visit a while ago?"

Qi Ran took a sip of water, glanced at Su Wanxin, and revealed the real reason for her visit. Su Yao and Bai Yuwen immediately tensed up, looking at Su Wanxin seriously and earnestly.
"When did this happen? How come I didn’t know?" Su Yao frowned and asked, "Who dares to threaten you?"

Although she still wasn’t clear about Cheng Yao’s background, just from the hatred shown that night, Su Wanxin felt she really wouldn’t let her go.
