Claire North couldn’t hold back any longer and immediately stepped forward: "Baby, my child, Mommy has finally met you."
As she spoke, she was about to embrace Baby Hawthorne.
Baby Hawthorne dodged without hesitation, frowning, he asked Old Mrs. Hawthorne: "Grandma Zane, who is this person? How can she randomly claim a child, is she out of her mind?"
Old Mrs. Hawthorne glanced at Uncle Coleman: "Explain to the young master."

Baby Hawthorne’s expression was icy: "My mommy is Raina North, not you, fraud."
"Raina North? Oh, she’s my older sister, you should call her Aunt. My sister has always been jealous. But, no matter what, I’m your mommy."
Casper North’s eyes flashed with coldness, this wicked woman dared to speak ill of his mommy!
Baby Hawthorne exclaimed angrily: "I may be young, but I’m not stupid. Do you think you can deceive me?"
"Baby..." Claire North reached out, intending to forcibly hug Baby Hawthorne.
Baby Hawthorne pushed her away without hesitation and pulled Casper North like a whirlwind out of the parlor.
Claire North, caught off guard, was knocked unsteady by Baby Hawthorne. If it weren’t for Uncle Coleman catching her, she might have fallen on her backside. Even so, her foot twisted, and she couldn’t help but cry out in pain.
Old Mrs. Hawthorne walked over: "Baby is just not familiar with you, don’t blame him."
Claire North masked the coldness in her eyes, smiling gently: "How could I blame him? Baby is my son, I’m too worried about him to ever blame him. Besides, it’s not the child’s fault, it’s my failure as a mother."
Old Mrs. Hawthorne nodded, her expression indifferent: "It’s good that you know. I hope you can fulfill your responsibilities as a mother in the future."
Claire North quickly nodded: "Don’t worry, madam. I will certainly take good care of Baby in the future. No matter how long it takes or what method, I will make Baby recognize me as his mother."
Old Mrs. Hawthorne’s expression slightly eased.
Seeing this, Claire North cautiously asked: "Then, can I stay here? I want to spend more time with the child."
