When Raina North entered the research lab, the pile of herbs that had clogged the corridor was already completely moved away.
Wanda Woods personally brought Aaron Warren over: "Raina, the issue you reported has been investigated. It was merely a mistake; the staff mistakenly transported the wrong herbs. Raina did not miss this, and sighed quietly. If it weren’t to please her grandfather, she wouldn’t have taken the job at The Veridian Institute of Medicine; a mere institute, she never took seriously.
Wanda saw that Raina was not overly demanding and let out a sigh of relief, showing a slight smile on her face: "There’s a donation ceremony later, some important figures will be attending. If you’re interested, you can check it out."
Raina waved her hand: "No need. I’m not fond of such social gatherings."
"You should still check it out, it’s a chance to meet the colleagues at the institute, which will be helpful for future work together."
Raina knew that this invitation was not Wanda accepting her, but merely returning a favor.
Since Wanda showed such intention, Raina was not inclined to make things difficult: "In that case, thank you, Director Woods."
