Raina North couldn’t help but grumble to herself. She hinted multiple times, yet after being completely ignored, she had no choice but to accept the fact. Fortunately, the size of the house wasn’t small.
"How about President Hawthorne sleeps in... this room tonight?" Raina North opened the door to the guest bedroom, "I’ll change the sheets."
"There’s no need for that trouble." Elias Hawthorne looked at Raina North with a probing gaze, as if he had caught her changing her mind from earlier planning to let him sleep in the master bedroom.
Recalling the extra set of dishes at the dining table earlier, a cold light flickered in his eyes.
"I might not have suitable pajamas here." Raina North made one last reluctant hint.
"No worries, a bath towel will suffice."
"Alright then." Raina North resignedly took out a brand new bath towel from the cabinet.
It was easier to manage for Bobby, who could wear Casper’s clothes perfectly.
Thinking about Casper hiding in the master bedroom, Raina North was a bit anxious; Casper must be starving.
Seeing Elias Hawthorne still in the living room handling documents, Raina North found it hard to sit still, yet with him not going back to the room, she couldn’t bring food to Casper.

"Mommy, if you don’t come soon, your Mr. Casper will starve to death."
Raina North felt even more guilty, "Sorry, sorry, I didn’t expect Elias Hawthorne to bring your big brother."
Casper’s little face was all scrunched up, sighing, "You guys are out there feasting and having a great time, while I’m just that unfortunate soul that can’t see the light."
Seeing her son’s playful look, Raina North raised an eyebrow, "Wanna sing ’Little Cabbage’?"
"Not necessary when I look at my biological dad and big brother." Casper said, sneakily pulling the door open and peering outside.
Raina North’s mind went blank and she unhesitatingly dragged him back, "Casper, what are you doing?"
Just after yelling, she saw Casper looking at her in a daze.
Raina North then realized she was too agitated, and although Casper was quite mature, he was still just a young child. It was only natural for a child to be curious about their biological father, there was really no need to overreact.
Suddenly, a rush of guilt welled up in her, and she apologized shamefully, "Sorry, baby, mommy shouldn’t have yelled at you."
"Mommy," Casper snuggled into Raina North’s arms, wrapping his arms around her neck, "Don’t be afraid. No matter who my biological dad is, I won’t go with him. You’re the most important woman in my life."
