The aunt nodded. "Educated Youth Yun is of course still in the big brigade, and, Da Bao almost got kidnapped, you should hurry back and check on them!"
A few men carrying their luggage hurriedly excused themselves from the aunt and left.
"Third Brother, your sister-in-law still cares about you and Da Bao, she didn’t go back to the city with her mother."

Xiao Bao wanted to go see too but was stopped by his brother.

Outside noises were heard by Xiaoxiao, but she didn’t go to meet him. When she heard footsteps and the sound of someone carrying something approaching her room and then the door opening,
Xiaoxiao turned and saw his tall figure walking toward her. Before she could call out to him, he embraced her from above.
"Wife, I missed you."
Xiaoxiao could feel his warmth and his deep voice resounded by her ear.
"Hmm." She was forced to snuggle into his embrace.
Being able to hold her was a blessing.
Having drifted for nearly a month outside, he finally had a haven to return to.
"Wife, I made quite a bit of money this time."
Xiaoxiao saw that he finally let go of her and began talking about the money he had made this time.
"That’s great." Xiaoxiao complimented him, and he looked pleased with the praise, so she added another remark.
"I didn’t buy much this time."
He had initially planned to buy his wife quite a few things, but then he thought about what his wife had said and decided against it for the time being.

She wouldn’t leave them behind.

He was afraid they would look down on him.
He even suspected that they might think it was his doing that they let their daughter marry him.
"To go back and think it over."
Xiaoxiao raised an eyebrow, "Are you planning to meet them?"
He did want to meet them, but his wife hadn’t agreed to go back yet, had she?
He was never going to bring it up.
"It’s getting late, you guys must be hungry from rushing back, let’s prepare some food!"
Zhao Tianlei said with a smile, "I’ll go cook right now."
As long as his wife had them in her heart, everything was negotiable.
