That suddenly shut Second Brother Yun up.
He had studied hard but still couldn’t get into Tsing University.
"I can raise a few college students."
Second Sister-in-law Yun also hoped that all the children could go to college.
"Your daughter has worn that dress several times already."
Wearing it out was just showing off.
"Kids are all like that, and besides, the dress is pretty. My little sister has good taste. I’ll write to little sister about it. I’ll ask little sister to buy a cashmere coat from Capital City, my wife would look really good in it."
A cashmere coat from Capital City would certainly be much nicer than the ones from their department store.
"That must cost a lot of money."
"I can save up to buy it."
"Alright then, I’ll be waiting for that cashmere coat."
That cashmere coat would cost over a hundred.
She had bought one when she got married.
And she had always been reluctant to wear it.
Now that she had a few more kids at home, she was even more reluctant to spend so much on such an expensive item.
Over at Eldest Sister Yun’s place.
"Does my little sister have something against me?" It had been several days, but every time Eldest Sister Yun thought about her little sister’s coldness and sarcasm, she felt very uncomfortable.
Brother-in-law Yun hadn’t noticed these things.
He actually found the brother-in-law from the countryside quite pleasant to talk to.

Initially, when little sister was sent to the countryside, she had felt secretly pleased. She wasn’t as articulate as little sister, didn’t know how to act coy or speak sweetly.
Add to that her own good looks and high grades, and she was the favorite in the family.
"Let’s sleep, don’t overthink it."
Eldest Sister Yun didn’t want to disturb her husband’s sleep.
He was a truck driver and was on the road all the time.

She feared that after this visit, her relationship with her little sister would become distant, that their meetings would be reduced to mere courtesy.
As for her younger brother’s relationship with little sister.
Upon hearing that little sister was coming back, he had taken two days off in a row to pick them up and took them around.
Even though school hadn’t started yet and she was even more free, no one mentioned a thing.
The two of them got into university and such good ones at that; there was a good chance they would stay in Capital City.
They seemed to be doing well for themselves now.
But having someone who was always on the road, she was genuinely worried something bad might happen.
She was just a primary school teacher now, teaching several classes a day.
The more she thought about it, the more anxious she became.
Before getting into university, there had been a huge gap between them.
She was just somebody from the countryside, and leaving that life behind wasn’t so easy.
She lived a good life in the city, even though her in-laws had some issues with her at first for not bearing a son, it was still better than rural life.
That’s what she had thought.
But when little sister came back, she realized something was off.
Although little sister had been in the countryside, her hands, her face, they just didn’t look like someone who had lived in the rural area for years.
Her skin had no wrinkles or spots, her figure was still great, and the skin she showed was even whiter.
She seemed to live even better than her, who had always been in the city.
It was evident that little sister hadn’t suffered in the countryside; her husband took very good care of her.
What bothered Eldest Sister Yun the most was that after her husband came back, he kept praising that brother-in-law.
This made Eldest Sister Yun feel even more uncomfortable.
You’re a truck driver, and now you’ve become a team leader.
And that man had just been lucky to get into university. To pamper little sister wasn’t so easy.
He must have had a rough time, right?
And those clothes, that watch on little sister’s wrist, none of it was cheap.
