Would he dislike her even more for seizing an opportunity to climb up to him?
At this thought, Sheng Ning’s heart clenched in pain, and her eyes reddened.

She had always felt that Sheng Ning’s relationship with the Living Yama was out of the ordinary, otherwise, he wouldn’t have personally taken her to the infirmary on her first day.

“If you’re married, that’s one thing, but if you’re not, remember you can’t be involved with anyone before your promotion,” Wu Youli gently reminded in a soft voice.
“I know.” Sheng Ning sighed; she would certainly keep her feelings to herself from now on.
