“I should still find an opportunity to explain things to her!” After all, she had helped her a lot; if even an explanation proved useless, then so be it! She, Sheng Ning, didn’t need to beg anyone to be her friend.

Instantly, a thunderous applause erupted from below, the people from the fourth squad erupted like thunder with their clapping.

Xu Qigang moved past Sheng Ning to continue presenting Chen Huaying with a big red flower; his expression was neutral, while Chen Huaying was so excited she was nearly in tears.
With the commendation over, Xu Qigang briefly said a few encouraging words and announced new notices. After a month of intensive technical training, the General Union would hold competitions among all the departments that participated.
There had always been competition among the female comrades, and even more so among different department systems that didn’t see eye to eye.
For example, the women from the Song and Dance Troupe have always been rivals with the medical women.
The communications women could scarcely stand the sight of the union reporters.
So when this notice came out, it was like a lit fuse.
