From the train station to where Xu Qigang’s rescue team lived, it took a whole hour of bumping along before they arrived. Sheng Ning was almost shaken apart, her exquisite and delicate face pale white.
Liu Chun was in high spirits today. There was a fairy-like girl sitting in his car! Even the way he pressed the accelerator had more zest than usual.
When they arrived at the gate of the rescue team, Liu Chun flashed a big, toothy grin at the guard on duty.
“Stop for inspection!”
Liu Chun obediently stopped the car. He was Xu Qigang’s assistant. Usually, he didn’t have to handle buying supplies, but today the cook responsible for it was sick, so the captain had assigned him the task temporarily.
The War Wolf Rescue Team was particularly strict with inspections. Especially when the unfamiliar face of Sheng Ning appeared, she immediately drew attention.
She naturally knew the place was strictly managed, so she got out of the car voluntarily and thanked Liu Chun. “Thank you for bringing me here today. I won’t go inside; please ask Xu Qigang to come out.”
When the soldier on duty heard the captain’s name, his ears slightly twitched, and although he looked straight ahead, his eyes were gleaming.
