The ones mentioned above were of a lower rank than Qin Yue.

"Exactly! I heard that Living Yama broke six of your ribs. Injury heals over a hundred days. You shouldn’t be running around."
"Absolutely! You can’t just rely on being young and in good shape to neglect your health."
They were Qin Yue’s peers, and everyone was an old acquaintance who liked to tease each other when there was nothing else going on.
"..." Six ribs? Was he handicapped or just brain-damaged? Who gets their ribs broken like that? Damn it! No wonder bad news travels fast. He didn’t even stay in the hospital; he just came straight back and still got ridiculed.
Qin Yue swore that next time he would definitely lead his brothers to bloody wash the War Wolf Rescue Team and let them know why the flowers are so red.
"Little Hooligan, you are the Deputy Director of the Southern Union Special Action Department. We all count on you to bring us glory. You can’t afford to disable yourself."
"Yeah, Living Yama was too harsh. We used to carry guns together; how could he beat you up like that?"
"..." How was he tormented? Wasn’t it miserable enough that a dozen members of the War Wolf Rescue Team ended up in the hospital? How about distributing some of that excessive sympathy to others? Qin Yue didn’t want it.
"Scram, scram, scram..." Qin Yue finally lost his temper. These bastards were really something, each and every one gloating as if they hoped Living Yama really did break his ribs.
"If you don’t scram, I’ll beat you up."
"Don’t get angry, we’re leaving..." They had always been bullied by Little Hooligan, and now that they finally got a chance to bully him back, it felt good.
The group left with laughter and jokes.
Continuing through the administrative building, all the familiar faces along the way who saw him wanted to laugh but didn’t dare, forcing themselves to painfully restrain the awkward expressions.
"Come in!" Su Jiang’s voice came from the office.
"Deputy Director of the Special Action Department, Qin Yue, reporting for duty." Typically lax and easy-going, Qin Yue, when facing his old leader, stood upright with an intimidating and solemn air about him.
Su Jiang looked up, giving him a surprised glance and said with a tone of disappointment, "Nothing’s the matter? I thought I was going to have to visit you in the hospital."
Qin Yue’s mouth twitched. What was the President implying with that tone of disappointment? "President, what are you looking at?"
Su Jiang tapped the operation plan in front of him nonchalantly, "I’m just studying a long-distance operation route."
"Long-distance operation?" Qin Yue’s eyes brightened as he pointed towards the South. "You mean you want to continue..." Although the Southern Border Rescue Field operations had concluded, there were still small-scale frictions occurring at the junction between the two countries. Another strategic target for their Southern District was to eliminate these small-scale potential enemies.
As Captain of the Special Action Department, the majority of the missions were led by him.
Before he could finish, Su Jiang slapped his hand away, "Idiot, don’t cause trouble for me when there’s no need." This damned kid was good in every aspect, no less capable than Xu Qigang, except for his propensity for stirring up trouble without being sufficiently composed.
It made him, the President, constantly vigilant over him.
"Yes, President!" Qin Yue greeted irreverently, whether he truly listened was another story. "What’s with this long-distance operation you’re looking into?" It made him think they were going to strike right at the enemy’s home turf.
"Weren’t you the one who had eight ribs broken in the North? Shouldn’t I go check on you?"
