“Wait for me…” Sheng Ning quickly caught up, and the sisters headed first to the supply and marketing cooperative. They entered with empty hands and came out carrying so many things they could hardly hold them all.

Hearing her say this, Sheng An stared at her blankly, “You must’ve been busy making money, right?”
Sheng Ning chuckled, “Me? Make money? I spent every day training so hard I could fall asleep standing up, let alone make money!” She had wanted to do business, but there just wasn’t enough time, so she had to put that thought aside.
“Is it that tough in the General Union?” Like everyone else, Sheng An was filled with longing for the life there.
Nowadays, getting into the union was considered an honor. Sheng Ning paused for a moment, “An’an, do you want to join the union too?” If An’an wished to join, she would be willing to forsake her so-called pride for her sister.
“You can actually get me into the General Union?” Sheng An excitedly pointed at herself, momentarily forgetting her slightly obstinate demeanor.
