“Where is he?” the boss asked, referring to the person who had acted on their behalf, “You didn’t finish him off, how could they agree?”

Meng Ping, jarred by the bumpy car ride, which, combined with the cut he had made on his own wrist, left him feeling both dizzy and in pain. The wound had stopped bleeding, but it still hurt terribly. He had barely recovered a bit when he overheard the two men’s conversation and spoke up bluntly and directly, “I’m Second Young Master Meng, and you don’t even bother to find out who’s got money? If I say I’m second, who has the guts to claim they’re first?”
