Careful to evade the maids' detection grid, Mira's stealth mission went on, knowing that if she was spotted, she would be surrounded in an instant. She would only need to come in contact with them when picking up the disguise, and then she needed to escape before word spread of her presence there.

Her mission would be completed flawlessly if she pulled that off, and she aimed for that as she scurried forward.

She felt like she was one step away from victory when everything fell apart. As soon as she set foot in the room with the disguise, she stood face to face with a large unit of maids, with Lily and Tabatha amongst them.

Seeing them, Mira gave up and surrendered to them. As much as she wanted to, it would be impossible to delay that meeting any longer, so she just went with them to try out the inner pants.

But then she made an unexpected discovery. There was more than just custom made inner pants for her.

That led to her being stripped of not just the special forces gear she was wearing, but all other clothes on her as well. Then she was made to wear the inner pants, as well as the new Autumn Version of her custom getup.

「It would seem we've pulled off a miracle.」

Seeing Mira in her new attire, Tabatha smiled, filled with emotion. And Lily, who usually was the most excited about everything, was oddly silent.

Lily was staring emptily at space in a daze, like her spirit had ascended. That lasted for only a short time, as soon Tabatha managed to bring her back.

「Oh, I'm sorry, I can't believe I just did that. It's just been so long since I've witnessed something that I nearly lost myself.」

Back in reality, Lily smiled with a hint of embarrassment, before turning to look at Mira again, her eyes sharp like a predator eyeing its prey. That was something the other maids were doing as well.

It had been a couple months since Mira had gotten caught by the maids like that, so they could no longer wait to dote on her again. So Mira ended up staying in their care until all of them were satisfied.

(I guess I'll have to monitor their needs a bit so they don't inflate too much…)

With Meilin's disguise and her new dress, as well as the hair dye for both of them, Mira headed to visit Solomon's office.

After being forced to change clothes, Mira was also made to undergo a full body massage, then was treated to plenty of sweets, all the while being pampered by the maids as much as possible. It had been a difficult situation to go through, but they were still maids working at the royal palace, so they knew how to fulfill their services perfectly, and Mira's body felt completely relaxed and even her gait seemed lighter than before.

「Oh nice nice, you look really good in that.」

「I wasn't told about this…」

Solomon looked smugly at Mira as she entered the office, and she frowned in response, still wanting to know why they had made an outfit for her as well, when she only knew about Meilin's disguise.

But Solomon's response was to basically ask, why wouldn't they?

Hearing that, she began to think about the maids' disposition, and realized he was right. All she could do was let out a defeated sigh, and then she held out her hand, demanding the items she had requested.

「You know, gathering all of this was actually quite a lot of work.」

Saying that, Solomon took out a book, which contained all of the information about how the army trained and operated, which Mira had requested some time before. That included many top secret details, but Solomon handed it over to Mira without batting an eye, showing just how much he trusted her.

「I can't wait to see what you do with the help of this.」

Saying that, Solomon also smiled, saying he would be counting on Mira as well.

「When that time comes, I'll make sure to knock your socks off.」

Mira took the book, and claimed she would exceed Solomon's expectations.

After doing everything she needed to at the castle, Mira stopped by the Academy. The students were right in the middle of lunch break, so many of them were sitting around the courtyard, leisurely passing the time.

Mira had been there on a regular basis to teach Emilia, so the other students also recognized her now, and some even gathered specifically to catch a glimpse of her.

Somehow, they had even heard that Emilia, a representative of the summoner students, had become Mira's pupil. That pushed the other students to train harder as well, as they wanted to be ready for the next showcase, afraid of falling behind Emilia.

On top of that, it was easy to gain the admiration and interest of the students by having a well recognized title like Rank A adventurer. But there were some less enthused stares thrown her way as well.

They were wary of the next showcase, knowing that one of the representatives had been personally tutored by the Spirit Queen.

(Hmmm… They could just come talk to me if they wanted…)

The one constant was that all of the students just watched from afar, and no one approached her. She would be more than happy to give out autographs or take pictures with them if they asked, but she could only wonder what made them keep their distance like that. After all, the comments she managed to overhear were not bad at all, merely calling her cute, or amazing.

She also wanted to actually talk with them if possible, to learn a bit more about everything that was going on at the Academy, but they would all retreat and maintain their distance, so with a bit of disappointment, she continued going further into the Academy.
