Actually, he was willing to perform the blood offering to obtain Huangfu Qingjue’s favor anyway. Therefore, there was totally no need for Huangfu Qingjue and Ling Chuxi to thank him. Additionally, he was saying this was obviously as a sign of goodwill towards Huangfu Qingjue.

“Let’s go, we should also return,” said the demon emperor after he watched Huangfu Qingjue and Ling Chuxi walk through the gate. He then turned around and began walking back towards the valley with a refined and carefree intent in his figure.

Zhen Ye took a few steps before coming to a stop, hesitating without moving forward.

“I have decided. I must go out to take a look again. The last time I got injured and did not even manage to enter the countries of humans before having to rush back. This time I can’t miss this opportunity.” Once Zhen Ye finished speaking, he directly walked through the arched gate without turning back.
