Belinda knew her daughter well. She wouldn't do anything that goes against morality and if she was saying that she invested her savings and earned profits, then it was that.
She couldn't help but smile, her eyes filled with so much pride, "as expected of my baby. You are really a genius!"
Diamond laughed happily upon hearing that; it had always been like that. Although she wasn't talented in many aspects, her parents had always been very proud of her and would praise her to the nines.
She was embarrassed when growing up because she knew that her talents were mediocre. Ruby, however, was a genius, and she was someone who would achieve something greater in the future.
And Diamond wanted a brighter future for her. She was going to do her best to give her a better chance for tertiary education. She was a rich person now, and sending Ruby to school was very easy.
Richard Perry wasn't a talkative person, and everyone was used to that. The father simply looked at Diamond with love and pride in his eyes.
"Okay, we can talk later. How about we arrange the food and cook something? I am starving!" Ruby suggested, seeing how everyone wasn't moving.
When she said that, it finally dawned on Belinda that there were chores to do. Quickly, everyone was busy, including Richard packing the food in the pantry while Belinda happily prepared supper for everyone.
On that night, the family was finally completed, and the supper was more delicious than before. After supper, they sat together in the sitting room and began to listen to Diamond talking about Frin City.
The family of four would laugh here and there, and the atmosphere was very harmonious.
Richard had to go to work early, so he went to sleep before everyone else and only the women remained.
Belinda looked at Diamond, and as a mother, she could tell that her child was hiding something, but before the other was willing to share, she wasn't going to share.

Belinda chuckled embarrassingly, seeing that she had been caught red-handed, "Okay, okay, I just want to know if I have a son-in-law."
Ruby became very interested as well. Her sister became this beautiful and more fairy-like. She should definitely have several men pursuing her.
Diamond knew that this question would come, and she didn't want to beat around the bush, "Mom, I am still single but don't worry, one day I will bring you two or three sons-in-law and you will become a legendary mother with several in-laws."
Belinda choked upon hearing that and Ruby simply started laughing so much that tears were streaming down her cheeks, "Big sister, I applaud you! This is definitely something awesome!"
Belinda looked at Diamond with disbelief in her eyes, "darling, this..... what do you mean?"
"Mom, won't that be wonderful?" Diamond teased the shocked lady with amusement in her eyes.
Ruby also chipped in and teased her mother, "Mom, come on, let's try it. Hahaha, just thinking of the brothers-in-law vying for sister's attention will be fun."
Belinda didn't know what to think of that. That was simply hilarious, but from Diamond's tone, she could tell that her daughter's joke was somehow her earnest thoughts.
How did she end up having such thoughts? Did that scum of her ex-boyfriend make her have such thoughts? What did that person do to her daughter?
In the end, Belinda was forced to go and sleep early, as she wanted to have some moments to herself and organize her thoughts.
Ruby was so excited that she slept late, she couldn't stop talking about reverse harems. Apparently, the little girl had the same taste as her.
It was only after Ruby was sleeping that Diamond finally remembered that she hadn't given her parents or Ruby the gifts that she prepared for them. Anyway, there was still time, so she was going to give them later. She was still there, after all.
The next day, everyone left Diamond to her own devices, and to be honest, the house was so quiet that she was troubled by it. Luckily, the weekend was approaching, so she was going to spend some time with everyone.
She didn't bother going out, as she didn't want to meet the gossipy people outside. She spent her time talking to some I. T technician who was currently in the middle of creating a website for her charity organization.
As she didn't know much about technology, she decided to leave the job to the professionals. This was her baby, and she wanted to do her utmost best for it.
She was even thinking of creating a special app for it as well. After all, there were so many people capable of making them and also apps to create one.
