Diamond brought everyone to one of the biggest 4S shops in Frin. The shop sold a variety of cars from different manufacturers. So, the customer always has a variety of choices and not be limited to one.
When they arrived, the six got out of the car, before walking with other people who were obviously on their way to buy a car.
"I heard that today there is that Cagda CV15, the latest model Cagda had just released. I can’t believe that I get to see it."
"It’s useless to even see it. I heard that in the past few days, those rich scions dropped by but no one managed to buy it."
"Is it that expensive?"
"I heard that the price is ridiculous, and it’s just a two-seater on top of that."
"But for people with money, that money should be nothing."
"Hehe, nothing! I heard the car is priced at ten million and it’s even electric. Where can we get the charging stations when we are mostly using fuel?"
"It sounds costly now that you say it."
"That money is enough to buy a house and several other cars plus a business on top."
"You never know. A crazy person out there might take a liking to it and buy it."
Diamond heard such juicy gossip; her eyes couldn’t help but light up. Ever since she started buying cars in Frin, she never came across an expensive car which was to her liking.
And now that she was hearing about this Cagda latest car, her interest was piqued. And with more people vying for it, she knew that she needed to make a move first.
When they entered the shop, Diamond’s attention was all stolen when she spotted a car that several people were looking at with admiration and yet keeping a distance.
As she looked at the drama happening there, she couldn’t help but spot a few people she had seen on the news and some of them were sons and daughters of the rich.
Diamond had barely interacted with kids like that, except for Clarissa and Selena. So even if she were to buy that car today, she wouldn’t be offending anyone.
Besides, only those who were richer than her could get offended. How dare someone with measly peanuts get offended by her? Wasn’t that courting death?
"Let’s go there and see. I am very interested in that car!" without hiding her intentions, Diamond informed the five people who were with her.
When Garnet heard that, she only thought, it was expected but the four couldn’t help but look at each other wondering if she was here to splurge.
Wasn’t she worried that her family would scold her for wasting money?
It was unfortunate that the six guards in Taco, didn’t explain properly to Admire and the rest, how Diamond was literally the head of the house. So, they weren’t aware that she had a lot of money to spare and for her many future generations.
Diamond didn’t care about anyone’s thoughts and just walked towards something that stole her heart.
"Seeing this car every day and being unable to buy it, my heart aches."
"Hehe, who told you to invest all your money?"
"At least I invested it instead of splurging it!"
"It would be nice if one of us got this car. I would hate it if those Srad scions came and stole it from us like they did last time."
"Hmph, I would rather pool money to keep it in Frin than allow those people. At the moment we are still safe, they haven’t made a move yet."
"At this rate, on that gathering, what should we do?"
"Alas, I guess we will have to wait and see."
The group of rich boys and girls were busy murmuring with each other, but Diamond could hear them perfectly.
It seemed that some inviable battles were happening between cities that she didn’t know of.
And the moment she heard about Srad, her brows scrunched obviously angry and infuriated about the place.
How could she let people from Srad do whatever they wanted? She had suffered because of some people from there and now that she was well off; she was going to make them pay.
So, without further ado, Diamond approached the group of rich kids with a smile on her face.
One of the girls in this group gawked as she looked at the person who was walking confidently towards them.
’OMG! Isn’t this ..... isn’t she the famous streamer and socialite who had been causing waves lately?’ she couldn’t believe what she was seeing at all.
"Kelly, what’s wrong with you?" upon seeing that her friend didn’t look quite right, Lucy asked her friend worriedly.
Kelly suddenly grabbed Lucy’s hand and tapped it asking excitedly, "Lucy, isn’t that girl coming our way that DIAMOND, Lena is very obsessed with?" forcing Lucy to look in the direction where Kelly was looking at.
When Lucy looked in that direction, her eyes narrowed as she sized the incoming person.
How could a person be so beautiful like that?
"She is the one, isn’t she?" Kelly asked for confirmation excitedly attracting the attention of her other friends.
"Kelly what are you talking about?" the other asked puzzlingly upon hearing Kelly’s question.
Lucy sighed as she looked at her friends and replied, "You know that socialite, the rich one who loves gifting money and Lena’s current favorite she can stop talking about?"
"Oh, is her name DIAMOND or something?"
"Yes, she is the one. What about her?"
Lucy looked at her friends before looking in the other direction and replied, "She is coming our way!" calmly.
"She is what?" one of them exclaimed in surprise as he looked where Kelly was looking and when he saw the young lady in a floral dress, wearing flat shoes, her hair let loose making it fall all the way to her tailbone like some fairy from a manga, his jaws dropped to the ground.
"This ..... are we dreaming?"
"That is definitely not a dream. She is coming our way right now."
Diamond felt amused as she listened to the rich kids talking among themselves. How could they be so cute like that?
At least they weren’t hostile to her. It would be awkward if they were especially when they knew her sticky Selena whom she left at her house that morning.
It didn’t take long before Diamond arrived at where the group was.
