Meanwhile, in the middle ring of the Garden View Villa complex, Diamond was squinting her eyes happily as she admired the beautiful garden. She was planning on destroying it later to make her own unique garden.
’What a beautiful place!’ she exhaled with a smile, just imagining the good things she would see once she entered inside.
"Let’s go inside, girls!" Diamond urged as she took her first step towards the villa.
"Coming!" Ruby called out excitedly as she ran towards her sister, who was already making her way to the villa.
Garnet, on the other hand, maintained her pace as she took in everything she wanted to know.
On her way to the villa, her eyes couldn’t help but narrow as she looked to the next villa where a curtain could be seen fluttering and a flash of light, which she knew pretty well coming from there.
’Is it a friend or a foe?’ she wondered as she turned away, following Diamond and Ruby dutifully.
Diamond entered the villa she hadn’t stepped foot into for over a month and felt emotional upon seeing the changes,
Everything that screamed the previous owners was gone and disposed of.
Some of the rooms that looked constricted before were now spacious. Instead of having two living spaces just next to each other, she had them combined into two and also created a separate room, which she turned into a small salon to entertain a few guests.
After checking the whole villa, the villa now had six bedrooms, one living space which was now bigger compared to before, a salon, a kitchen, a dining room, a study, a library room and in the basement, the storage and laundry rooms were renovated accordingly.
There was an outside pool which didn’t see any changes, as it was already perfect for her. All the remaining furniture was discarded and changed. So, everything inside the villa just screamed new.
Before seeing the villa, Diamond wanted to rent the place out, but now she no longer wanted it to be like that.
She already has thirty-six apartments which were being rented out. So why rent out such a nice villa?
Unless she gets a new villa somewhere nicer than the middle ring, she wouldn’t dream of doing such a thing.
It would have been nice to get a villa in Dragon Court, but that place was even scarier than Cherry Court. The top three families owned the mansions there. Although she couldn’t get a mansion since they were taken already, she didn’t mind befriending the occupants.
Maybe creating some coincidences and making use of the connections she has right now would be of help.
Outside the villa, there was also a gazebo which she had the team add. Having a place to rest while outside was a must. So, while the girls were still scouring the interior, Diamond sat very relaxed outside as she took a look at the buildings she had been given.
However, before she could claim the deeds and check where the buildings were, her phone pinged.
"Andy, who is it?" lazy to reach out for her phone, which was on the table, she asked her favorite son.
{Mother, it’s Selena.}
Upon hearing that, Diamond’s actions froze for a second before she instructed, "Call her. Let’s hear what it is she wants!"
With Andrea calling Selena, Diamond’s attention returned once more to claiming her rewards.
Within seconds, Diamond was holding three thick envelopes which were very familiar, as she had received something like that before.
[Hello. Big sis!] After a few rings, Selena answered jovially, forcing Diamond to stop what she was doing to respond.
"Um. Dear. How are you?" Diamond asked smilingly before, ’trr’ tearing the first envelope to check the contents.
[I am doing well and you?]
"Couldn’t be any better, dear!" she replied with a smile as she pulled the documents from the first envelope.
[Um ... sis, I heard that you are in my complex. Is that true?]
Upon hearing that, Diamond, who was about to read what kind of building she had received, stopped in her tracks once again.
’What is this? Am I so popular for people to know about my whereabouts without me knowing?’ she frowned as she thought of that.
It felt as if she was being spied on and she didn’t like that at all.
"Um. I am there. How did you know about it?" she acknowledged without denying it.
[Pew. I thought that they were lying to me, but I am glad that you were there. Can I come over?]
"Do you know where I am?"
[Um. I know and I can get there in like five.]
Diamond was becoming more interested the more she listened to Selena telling her all that. And since her curiosity was piqued, she didn’t hesitate to respond, "Fine. Then come. Ruby and Garnet are with me!"
[Yipee! I will be there shortly. Just wait for me!] she agitatedly said before hanging up.
Diamond sighed dejectedly as a solemn expression appeared on her face.
"Andy, I don’t at all. Tell me, how did she know where I was?" she was confused about that, actually.
She didn’t want to suspect the little girl at all, but she couldn’t help but wonder what was truly going on.
{Mother, I have just gone through Selena’s contacts and social media accounts. She isn’t spying on you at all, but it seems like the whole complex now knows that you stay in Frin.}
"Huh!" Diamond was baffled upon hearing that. She just couldn’t understand it. "What are you talking about?"
{Apparently, your act of buying the Cagda CV10 made the rich masters and mistresses be interested in you. Happy about the car remaining in Frin, they spread the news in their chat groups leading to the current situation.}
"So, you are telling me that I have been recognized because of the car?" Diamond couldn’t believe it.
{I am afraid it is like that!}
Diamond’s shoulders drooped upon hearing that.
"I guess that I need to get used to it now. It’s not like I can hide it. Maybe this is also for the better!" she muttered as she returned to the documents.
