"The pleasure is all mine! Hehe!" Mr. Dike chuckled heartily as he shook hands with a beautiful lady briefly before pulling away.
The gaze drilling on him from that younger girl was simply too unbearable. He didn’t dare to overstep his boundaries.
Besides everything he had heard from Lucy, he was very conscious of what he could and shouldn’t do.
Lucy, seeing that everything was going well, danced inwardly, thinking about the wonderful commission she would be receiving once the deal was sealed.
"Okay, now that everyone has met. How about we check the place out? We still have two more places to go!" Lucy urged with a smile as she looked at the two.
Mr. Dike, upon hearing that, didn’t object. After all, he really needed the money and as soon as he got it, his plans could finally be set in motion.
"Sure. I am curious about this place!" Diamond was another eager being as well.
Seeing that the seller and potential buyer were on the same wavelength, Lucy found her role as the intermediary to not be that hard.
So, in the next thirty minutes or so, Lucy walked with the three as she also listened to Mr. Dike introducing his house and everything that was in it.
The house hadn’t been lived in for the past month. He renovated it, so it was as good as new.
Seeing the place in person was truly important, as Diamond saw more than what she saw when seeing photos.
When the tour was finished, she was brimming with satisfaction, which was the most important factor when it came to buying houses. At least to her.
Whether the house will make money or not, that was another story.
At least the houses will keep on increasing in value and barely decrease. If she can’t sell it, then she will live in it or rent it out.
What mattered in the end was how the house would be hers.
After checking the house, Diamond and Garnet followed Lucy and Mr. Dike to the other two sites and after seeing everything, Diamond was convinced and very interested in buying all three.
Interested in buying, she and Mr. Dike then sat down to negotiate the prices and after a long debate of thirty minutes, the prices were finally negotiated and both parties were very satisfied.
The team decided to meet the next day to finalize everything with the lawyers and transfer the buildings to Diamond.
With that settled, they bid each other farewell before parting different ways.
Diamond and Garnet stopped by a street restaurant where she and Garner enjoyed a late meal.
Considering how lunch passed because they were busy, they could only make do.
However, before eating, Diamond, who was still self-conscious regarding her online presence, snapped a few photos of the food without revealing herself and uploaded them online without any caption.
After doing so, she went offline, where she started digging into her food. As for the chaos that was happening there, only Andrea, the child that never sleeps born witness to how crazy fans could be.
After the late meal, the two returned to Cherry Court.
When they arrived, Ruby was still not at home. The girl went to the foundation, so it was just Janet alone.
Janet was in the kitchen preparing supper, so Diamond simply dragged Garnet to the third floor, her study for that unfinished chat they had earlier that morning.
Diamond didn’t say much as soon as she was seated, but took out a notebook and began to jot something down seriously for a while.
When she was finished, she tore off the page she had written before sliding it to Garnet.
When Garnet saw that the paper was hers, she pulled it closer to her before picking it up to read the contents.
"On that paper, I have jotted down every single social media platform I am on as DIAMOND; Ioniq, Quetube as well as DMAIL. There are still many social platforms there but since I didn’t have time, I never bothered with them. So, when you do your research, just find me those which have good reception, which people like and definitely the ones where I can earn some money. I don’t want to waste my time creating content and getting nothing out of it."
"You will be responsible for managing those accounts and I believe that with you and Andrea, nothing will happen, such as hacking or cyberbullying on my accounts."
"If there are invitations for endorsements, you are not allowed to accept them without investigating all generations of the products and even the people behind the company as well. You have to inform me because I will not allow anyone or anything to tarnish everything I have worked hard for."
"If there is anything that you can’t handle, just come to me and I will see what to do. And lastly, don’t forget to discuss with me if there is anything that I should do as DIAMOND. Remember that you are my manager and, as my manager, you have the best interest of your artist at heart."
Diamond racked her brains to sell all of that and as for what she had forgotten, she would just bring it up when the time came.
"I will sleep on it and provide you with something tomorrow morning!"
"Um. You go ahead and do what you need to do. If there is anything that you don’t understand, remember that Andrea is always available!" Diamond reminded.
The two didn’t continue to chat more and Garnet left.
With Garnet gone, Diamond sat lazily on the chair as her eyes narrowed, thinking about something.
After a while, she suddenly called, "Andrea?"
And a bit later, Andrea responded, {Mother! How may I help you?}
"Andy, that scumbag. Is he still lurking around my account?"
{Um. But I blocked his new account today, so for now, unless he creates another one, he won’t be!}
"Unblock all of his accounts!" Diamond instructed as her lips curled upward, slyness evident in her eyes.
{Are you sure you want to do that?}
"Hehe, very sure. Why block him when I could make him see me in my full glory? Besides, what do you think that vixen will feel when I show her dozens of evidences about how her beloved husband was a stalker?" Diamond chuckled evilly; her eyes narrowed into slits as she imagined all sorts of things.
{Then I guess I need to start compiling evidence!} What could he, as the son, say in such a situation?
"Perfect! I will give those two a perfect present pretty soon. It’s time I deal with them once and for all!"
For a while, she had forgotten that those people existed. If it wasn’t for Andrea telling her about how that man who broke her heart, made her fall into a ditch, doubted herself and nearly gave up on herself was stalking her, she would have truly forgotten about them.
But since he was the one coming to her on his own, then she might as well deal with him.
And in the process, serve that cold dish she had been preparing for years.

She was going to make sure that they did even if they didn’t.
