As a result, she set that aside. As long as she got what she wanted, the rest could wait. Who knows what was useful and what was not?
She stored the books back in the library, but in a position, she could remember clearly.
After seeing everything she wanted, Diamond plucked a ripe tomato and fed her grumbling stomach before returning to the real world a bit more cheered up than before.
’I hope things will work out for the best!’ she prayed sincerely as she looked above to whoever was listening.
"Darling, is your father back?"
{No, he is still outside. You weren’t gone for long!}
{It’s almost time. The top 100 list doesn’t seem to be changing much!}
"Oh! There is still that? I nearly forgot about it. Just notify me when it’s 8!"
After getting an important reminder, Diamond sighed with relief. To think that she nearly forgot about the fan event she was holding, she nearly messed up. Thank goodness she woke up early otherwise, who knows what would have happened?
[Ding! Do you want to sign in?]
Seeing the system which came a bit early that day, she started wondering what good things she would be rewarded with. The system had been a bit generous lately, so she loved every signing-in moment.
[Ding! You have been rewarded with a basic meditation technique.]
[Ding! The technique can be passed on to others!]
"What the heck?" Diamond cursed out loud after hearing what the system had just said.
{Mother, are you okay?} Hearing his mother cursing from nowhere, Andrea asked worriedly, his voice filling the whole room.
Diamond slapped her cheeks to check whether she was dreaming or not, but when the pain stung her, she cursed once more, accepting that everything was real.
"I am fine, Andrea. Just thought of something!" she responded to the worried son of hers.
What was going on? Why did she suddenly receive something that she could share with others simply like that?
Could it be the system was trying to compensate her? After learning the cultivation realms and how she might end up living for a very long time without her loved ones, the system gives her such a reward. Wasn’t this a bit too coincidental?
[Instead of thinking too much, why don’t you check the technique? And stop complaining. Being too lazy to work just because you are afraid of living alone, isn’t that too lame?]

It seemed that her spirit of laziness was about to take over once again. Thankfully, the system came in time to shake her a bit, otherwise who knows what she might have done?
Diamond retrieved the meditation technique and read it for a while, but didn’t find it suitable for her.
The thought of sitting down to meditate daily when she has a perfect physique, which does the meditation for her, sent shivers down her spine.
"Andy, can you help me scan this document? Keep a copy of it. I need to send it to some people!"
{Um, bring the phone’s camera over the document. I will get the job done quickly.}
The mother and son cooperated well and shortly; Andrea had an electronic copy of the basic meditation technique.
{Dad is coming!} As she was in the middle of thinking about something, Andrea reminded her.
"Shit! He is done so fast?"
{It’s not fast, you have been occupied for a long time, that’s why!}
"Fine," she grumbled as she stored the original copy in her storage ring before starting to walk towards the bedroom door.
{And one last thing, five minutes remain until 8, so be ready!} came another reminder from Andrea.
Diamond met with Kian in the living room and the two embraced each other as if they hadn’t seen each other in ages before Kian took her to the dining room.
"You wait here, darling. I will bring the food!" he said to her affectionately, the smile never leaving his face.
"Sure, you take your time. Need to chat a bit with the fans here!"
"Um. You do your thing then!" he said in agreement before walking away.
Meanwhile, on DIAMOND’s Ioniq page, there was a lot of chattering happening on the last post with the five hundred contestants.
In real-time, everyone could see who was winning and who was not. So, it was quite a mess and a thrilling one on top of that.
At exactly 8 am, a new post appeared on the page, making the page refreshers so excited that they hurriedly shared the post.
[DIAMOND (V): Good morning, everyone. I hope that you slept well like I did.]
[I am quite amazed by how hard-working and determined you are at this event. For your participation, thank you very much. The competition has finally come to an end and the top winners have been decided.]

After sending that, Diamond was nowhere to be seen. Garnet and Andrea were left with the workload.
And as for Diamond, she was busy having a nice breakfast with Kian, enjoying herself.
