"I will not be checking on the viewer count as I broadcast. Someone and some of you will help me do that. For now, let’s start cooking. I will also answer questions and pardon me in advance if I offend you!" Diamond slightly bowed in apology for all the mess she was going to make if anyone provoked her later.
After doing so, she started ignoring the comments, as it was truly time for her to start cooking.
"Tonight, I will be making something very simple. A simple meal that anyone with enough ingredients can make at home. Are you all curious what it is?" Diamond asked teasingly as she made her way to the double-door fridge where most of the ingredients she needed were.
"Another time, forgot when. I was browsing through Ioniq when I came across some cooking videos and they were all about how to cook chicken without using oil. I was a bit startled when I saw that, but my curiosity got the best of me."
"I decided to check and see how I can actually fry chicken without using oil. After all, if such methods exist, won’t we save a lot on oil? At times coking oil is a bit expensive, and it drives a lot of mothers crazy out there. So, I took a look at it, and when I finished watching, I was impressed!" Diamond loved storytelling whenever she was in a good mood, so she happily recalled what happened there as she picked a closed packet of chicken cutlets from the fridge.
"So, tonight I want to recreate that dish using my own methods. So what is aw might not be what I cook. Don’t compare me with anyone, I plead in advance!" she said as she brought the chicken to the sink.
Under the eyes of many, Diamond washed her hands first, tore the plastic open and took out six pieces of chicken. There were all chicken breasts, fortunately, so she didn’t have to go through the effort of separating and deciding what to use and what not to.
"I will have to wash the chicken breasts first and ....."
She washed the chicken and sliced the breasts into two, making the total pieces, twelve. After doing so, she took out a non-sticking frying pan and washed it first before adding a reasonable amount of water to it.
She switched on the gas stove before placing the pan over it. When that was done, she started putting the chicken into the pan neatly, evenly distributing them.
"Now that the chicken is on the stove, I will let it boil for a while as I do other things. Next, I will dice some herbs, garlic, ...."
As she explained herself, Diamond kept the knife moving swiftly and precisely like the master chef she was. As someone with advanced cooking skills, she wasn’t a novice when it came to cooking.
"I will add these to the pan and let it boil, but not too much. After all, the process has just started!" she continued explaining as she added the diced ingredients to the chicken, which was starting to lose the red of the blood.
Diamond loves her meat fully cooked without any sign of blood anywhere, so she always makes sure that everything is boiled to perfection.
"As we wait for the next process, let’s prepare something else," she said as she looked around.
