Diamond spoke dramatically, smirking, scoffing, sneering and showing all sorts of expressions, which left Kian dumbfounded.
He had known that she could talk, but seeing her doing it in person without reserve; he shuddered. He didn’t want to be on the end of the stick. He would rather have that mouth talk dirty to him than scold him.
"Getting back to the earlier topic, I said that I wanted to clarify something. I will start by accepting some of the issues my classmates who don’t want to see someone succeeding in life said. Rather than be happy for me for succeeding in life, you just had to bring some things up. How cruel you are!" she said with a disgusted expression on her face.
The thought of these people who were so jealous of other people, she felt like retching.
Nevertheless, she still continued with her address. After all, she was looking forward to spending quality time with Kian rather than entertaining these people who loved drama more than anything else.
However, for the sake of her parents and her staff, whom she knew followed her tightly, she needed to clarify everything.
"I have never been a sugar baby or a gold digger. Last time I checked the person I dated before this darling of mine; was rich, very rich in fact, but he had never done anything for me. So, with that kind of relationship which has spanned years, can I say that he sponsored me?"

"You cheated on me with my best friend. You two deserve each other so much, and I wish you the best. If you had cut off our relationship in peace, I wouldn’t be here telling you this. Haha, just consider this as me ranting and venting my anger. After all, I had been keeping this for four years now," she mockingly laughed as she recalled the past.
Kian, hearing her saying the past out loud like that, grasped her hand tighter, and she turned to look at him with a reassuring smile.
"I will be fine. I will let it all out today. They are the ones who started it. It’s not like anything can embarrass me any longer!" she said softly to reassure him, though her words were soundly translated to the watching viewers who were by now holding buckets of popcorn and enjoying the drama.
After comforting her lover, Diamond resumed.
"He cheated on my feelings, which I think I deserved. After all, I sort of used him as well in the beginning, though I ended up falling for him. But I can swear on my name or my parents’ name, that the ex never gave me anything. The only time we met was when he was with his friends. Just because I was desperate, he never hesitated to make me a fool in front of his friends."
"I endured for years being a laughingstock. I believed that one day it would be fine. I worked so damn hard while studying so that I wouldn’t rely much on my parents. I was already a failure, and I didn’t want to keep on mooching off them for life."
