"I used to be not so overly rich before and ..........." this was a story that she had talked about so many times through the important parts of the story were never exposed and revealed online.
There were major parts that only remained between her, her family, and the people involved.
And it was those parts she was going to tell Lady Aumbrey and check her reaction.
Lady Aumbrey listened to the story dumbfoundedly, especially when the story entered a very unexpected stage.
Honestly, she had never thought that Diamond was that kind of person. She didn’t look like the kind of person who would be so daring to enter such kinds of a complicated relationship.
She seemed to be the kind of woman who knew what she wanted, would have one man by her side and remain dominant throughout.
When women have money, they tend to act in certain ways. She was one of those women and knew what she was talking about.
Lady Aumbrey wasn’t expecting Diamond to tell her such a secret, one that would definitely astound the higher-ups when they learned of it. In fact, they were going to love it. After all, there were several ladies like Diamond among those people.
If they were to know that she was into this polyamorous thing, she would definitely become their favorite.
"Unfortunately, it didn’t work out. They were after what I had and I hate gold diggers the most. At some point, I was one too, so I understand the agony and shame of being associated with one," Diamond said as she leaned back on the couch, a disdainful smile on her face as she thought of that two shamelessness.
It was a good thing that their memories were erased and would never remember that they were once involved.
"Since we weren’t capable, I broke up with them and that was on Valentine’s Day. I just wanted to have a great day with them, make some love and make memories, but alas, it ended up as an unfortunate day.
With all that happening, I decided to treat myself to a vacation. It’s been nearly a year since I did. So here I am, chilling and enjoying myself!" with a smile on her face, Diamond said as she looked at Lady Aumbrey, whose gaze was filled with mixed emotions.
Seeing that kind of expression on her face, Diamond wanted to laugh out loud.
At least there wasn’t a disgusted expression like what Rita showed after hearing her preferences. Rather, Diamond could see that the other felt sorry for her and wasn’t in a good mood.

Lady Aumbrey suddenly banged the table, startling Diamond, who was in the middle of scrutinizing the other.
’Who angered her?’ Diamond wondered as she looked confusingly at the other who was now looking at her.
Letting out a deep sigh, Lady Aumbrey looked at Diamond, anger surging in her body. She could feel her blood boiling as if it wanted to erupt like a volcano.
Listening to Diamond, especially at the end, reminded her of some bad memories she wished she could forget, but then the story made everything resurface.
"Darling, you are very strong!" Lady Aumbrey complimented sincerely as she looked at Diamond.
Diamond, unable to understand why the other had become sentimental suddenly, chuckled faintly as she replied, "If as women we don’t become strong, who will become so on our behalf?"
Lady Aumbrey’s eyes sparkled with a glint of light upon hearing that and burst into a hearty laughter. "Indeed, if we aren’t strong, it’s not like anyone can do that for us."
"That’s why, despite being hurt, I celebrated it. Knowing that by doing so, I will completely flush out these people from my system and be ready to accept others and move on!"
"Oh! You are planning on dating early?" Lady Aumbrey’s eyes light up as she asks, her eyes practically screaming, ’Tell me more!’
Diamond chuckled lightly at seeing the older lady’s love for gossip and replied, "Of course. Why should I pine for years when there are so many good men out there?"
In her mind, three handsome faces flashed and a hue of blush appeared on her face.
Lady Aumbrey, seeing Diamond responding like that, knew automatically that the other had some targets she couldn’t help but be curious.
"Do you already have people in mind?" she asked as she arched her brows, a hint of amusement in her smile.
Diamond shyly looked at the other as she raised her glass for another sip. Her actions speak volumes than words.
Lady Aumbrey smiled knowingly at seeing that. She couldn’t help but imagine who these lucky or unlucky guys were. They would be lucky to be associated with a young female bigshot but simultaneously unlucky, as they had to share that same woman.
It wasn’t easy for a man to share a woman. They love getting shared, but not the other way around.
Diamond didn’t entertain Lady Aumbrey on the topic any further and refused to divulge her love interest.
It was already good that she wasn’t like Rita and looked at ease being with her.
The two of them joked and drank a bit more before they left the club and headed for Lady Aumbrey’s suite.
Before Diamond leaves for her hotel, Lady Aumbrey wants to give her the gifts that she promised, and Diamond is eager to accept them urgently.
The suite wasn’t as generous as the one that she was staying in at her hotel; it was smaller but for its purpose; it was already grand.
As Lady Aumbrey promised, Diamond received a milky white fur coat, and it looked much better compared to the one that the lady wore at the auction.
The coat came with its garment bag, so it was easy to carry back to the hotel.
As for the wine, Lady Aumbrey was very generous and gave her two bottles. She didn’t know how they would taste, but she was going to try them before she left for Athary.
With the gifts given and accepted, it was around 11 pm when Diamond climbed into her designated Khaleesi sedan, waiting to take her back to the hotel.
Before the windows rolled up, she waved at Lady Aumbrey as she said, "I will see you soon!" enthusiasm laced in her tone.
Lady Aumbrey waved back at her without saying a word, a smile pasted on her face.
The car window finally closed, and Lady Aubrey watched as the cars departed.
Seeing the cars leaving, her eyes were a bit melancholic.
It’s been a while since she was this free and at ease.
Thinking about what she was going to inform the higher-ups, she was already looking forward to that moment.
