Meanwhile, Ruby and Kelly had no idea that they were being watched with hawk eyes, as after eating their food, they continued with her business talk.
"After seeing the designs, I think that it would be best if you make a few samples. Seeing them when they aren’t drawings will make me decide easily.
As long as they come out nice as what I am seeing here, then I will invest in the business," Ruby said to Kelly as she tapped the table.
Although she was eager to make money and venture into the business world, being cautious could save love.
Kelly responded with a nod, "I was thinking about that as well. However, I just wanted to make sure that you saw the designs. I can’t hastily make the clothes and then they flop."
"That’s true. That would be dangerous."
"So, I will make sure that I do that by next week and show you what it would be like."
Ruby nodded as she accepted that. "Make sure you have some. My sister will be returning in less than two weeks. She might be interested as long as you make them right!"
Upon hearing that, Kelly’s eyes widened with joy. Diamond was truly a big deal when it comes to trends.
Just look at how she made sweatpants very popular. She was the first person to probably travel that long in business class wearing sweatpants and got away with it.
"Don’t worry. Just believe me!" she pounded her chest as she looked determinedly at Ruby.
Ruby seeing that smiled. Her sister’s name was the best to use in situations like these and she didn’t feel jealous at all.
After all, at the end of the day, wasn’t the money still going to be under the Perry name?
The two friends finalized the details of their collaboration and talking about that, she knew that she wasn’t proficient in many things. That was why she was planning on meeting with Kiara, Diamond’s personal lawyer.
Kiara would help her draft a watertight contract or at least help her connect to a lawyer. Kiara was definitely very expensive to hire. She didn’t think that she would be able to hire her at all.
Using Diamond’s people for free, she felt quite ashamed to do that, she still remembered how her sister had told her in the beginning how she was supposed to do her own things. She should carry her own burdens.
"Let’s go now. It’s becoming late!" checking the time, Kelly said to Ruby.
Ruby also checked her phone and noticing the time, she nodded her head.
She needed to catch up with Diamond’s livestream. She didn’t know what time it was going to start, but she was looking forward to seeing it.
The girls packed their bags and rose to their feet.
Since they had eaten, it was time to pay for the food.
As Kelly was the one who invited her for the meal, she was the one paying for it.
At the counter, Kelly took out her card and swiped to pay.
After making the payment, the two girls left the restaurant with satisfied smiles on their faces.
Meanwhile, inside the restaurant, the young chef emerged from the kitchen again followed by the young woman who was his assistant.
"Waylon, why don’t you use that girl to promote the restaurant? At the rate we are going, we might continue making losses!" the female assistant asked as she looked worriedly towards the door where the two girls had just left earlier.
Waylon, the young chef smiled as he looked towards the door, a mysterious glint flashing through his eyes.
"Don’t stress much. This is not the time to make any profits. There is something that I must do. Once that gets achieved, I don’t mind promoting the place," he said as he looked at the female assistant, before asking, "Besides, if I really want to promote this place do you think that I can’t do it?" rendering the other speechless.
Meanwhile, on Ruby’s side, she had no idea that she had once again become the topic when she left as all she could think of was her sister’s livestream which started expectedly without warning.
Talking more with Kelly was no longer doable. So, she hastily bid her goodbye as she rushed towards the car.
Kelly who had received the same notification watched as Ruby fled to the car with a helpless smile on her face.
"These sisters are truly one of a kind!" she mumbled before hurrying toward her car as well.
She didn’t dare miss Diamond’s episodes. Who knows what craziness she has in store for them today?
If she wasn’t mistaken, she was going to broadcast the concert for that EES boy band.
Just when did she get acquainted with famous boy bands like that?
Meanwhile, on Ruby’s side, after getting into the car, she connected her phone to the holder and clicked on the livestream, ready to see what her sister had in store for them.
[Hehe, are you kidding me? I think that you are all jealous of me!] Those were the words that greeted Ruby the second that she joined the livestream.
Upon hearing that, a chuckle escaped from her lips seeing how playful her sister was.
She couldn’t help but wonder as she checked Diamond’s surroundings.
Thinking about that, she typed a comment and sent it.
She didn’t know if her sister would see it or not but she hoped that she would be lucky.
Diamond didn’t see her comment as she continued to tease the viewers, refusing to divulge her location.
Ruby seeing that, started the car and drove off to her destination, the Cherry Court Villa complex.
Her parents were there and since it was the weekend, she was going to spend it with her parents. She couldn’t leave them alone with Diamond gone.
As she drove on the way, she kept on laughing as Diamond’s jokes were truly improving.
[Oh! It seems that my sister is online. Let me see what she is asking!] Suddenly, Diamond’s words reached her ears.
Upon hearing that, Ruby’s hold on the steering wheel tightened as her eyes twinkled.
[Oh! Ruby, Ruby! Aren’t you doing homework today?] Suddenly the teasing started, making Ruby veer off the driveway for a second but fortunately managed to remain in control.

Hearing the shamelessness and boasting in her tone, Ruby couldn’t help but wonder what her sister was going to do at the concert so early.
