"There are certain foods I want you to buy for me. However, it should be done with utter secrecy. And when I collect them, the guards shouldn’t know about it. Can you do it?" she asked seriously, though it was more of a statement than a question.
When Iseul heard that, her heart pounded as she told herself, ’The time for me to do something has arrived!’
As a VVIP butler, she understood her duties pretty well. One of her unwritten duties was to help the customer with everything that he or she wanted. Of course, sexual favors were out of the question unless she was the one who wanted to do so voluntarily.
The company would always protect them. If it’s something serious that she couldn’t do herself, she would report to her superiors and help would arrive.
However, this was food. What kind of food would require such secrecy?
"What do you want me to buy? I will do my best to get everything that you want without any issues!" she solemnly vowed, without caring about much.
Diamond, hearing that, beamed. Working with clever people was indeed the best.
Without wasting Iseul’s time, she gave the list of the food that she wanted. And when Iseul heard it, she was dumbfounded.
Wasn’t this food a bit too much?
Not only was it too much, but it was the kind of food that didn’t need such secrecy. Just what was Diamond up to?
In the end, since there wasn’t anything that could send her to prison, she agreed to the request without making a fuss.
With her agreement, Diamond sent double the amount of money needed to buy what she had listed. The other portion of the money was Iseul’s tip.
Iseul who just got so much money for nothing, couldn’t help but feel excited. She couldn’t wait to buy what was needed and see how else she could benefit from her relationship with Diamond.
With all the shopping done, the entourage returned to the hotel, and it was no longer snowing. The weather had become warm in a matter of hours.
That same night, after knocking off, Iseul was in a state of excitement. Since she had an errand to run on behalf of Diamond, her matters were cast to the side.
As most of the food that Diamond required didn’t even need to be bought as she could have the people closest to her prepare them and let the money circulate in the family, as soon as she was in her apartment she made a call to her family, or rather her parents who lived twelve hours by train from Cadinan.
"Mother, are you free now?"
[What is it? Is there something urgent at work? Are you in trouble?] a worried voice sounded from the other side, making Iseul feel very touched.
Her parents, despite her working so hard and earning so much, their worry for her wellbeing had never diminished.
Unlike the kind of family that were vampires, always thinking of sucking everything from her. Her parents were different. They were hard-working and proud countryside residents.
She wasn’t embarrassed about the place that she grew up in. Without them working hard in the fields and living cheaply there, she wouldn’t have had a chance to attend the best schools and end up at one of the best hotels in Gesalsi.
Her family was her pride.
"No, mother. It’s not like that. I just found a customer who would be very happy with your products," she chuckled lightly as she told her mother about the reason why she called.
When her mother heard that, her excited voice came from the other side, asking what the other person wanted.
It wasn’t the first time that Iseul had sold her family’s products. It wasn’t like she was breaking the law by doing so.
She told her mother about the list of food that she wanted, and since her mother and other relatives could do it. Why let other people take the money?
She even told her mother about the deadline, so they could work on time without causing a delay.
After dealing with her parents’ issue, the rest of the food her family couldn’t make was going to be bought. So, she placed an order online. Ordering online was good, as she could state the date when she wanted the goods to be delivered as well, especially for local establishments.
By the time she went to sleep, she had dealt with at least half of the list.
As for the rest, she would deal with it once the sun rises.
A new day dawned on everyone, and that day, Iseul didn’t need to spend much time with Diamond.
After clocking in at the hotel and seeing Diamond, she left the hotel under the excuse of running an errand. It was normal for butlers to do so, so no one questioned what she was doing.
Iseul had to accompany Diamond around 3 pm that afternoon for the variety show she was going to attend with the EES boys. So, whatever she needed to do, must be finished before that time.
Iseul had to buy a lot of seeds. She didn’t know if these seeds could germinate in Diamond’s country or what. However, that wasn’t any of her business. She just needed to run the errand and get it done.
She purchased dried seafood, live seafood and beef, which she then took to her apartment. From what Diamond had said, she would pick those that night after the variety show.
As for the others, once they were done, she would get them.
After a day of running around, she returned to the hotel, where she found Diamond getting ready for the outing.
As soon as she arrived, Diamond looked at her with a smile, making butterflies in her stomach swim.
Diamond was charming. She was a beautiful person who just made others feel intoxicated without her doing anything.
It was even fatal whenever she smiled.
She was a deadly species.
And when her voice, which seemed to have been more blessed by the deities, entered her ears, it was GAME OVER!
