Hours later, Diamond alighted from the car and closed the door. She didn’t wait for the others at all and just marched into the house with her suitcase in hand.
If it hadn’t been for the twins, she would have made the damn suitcase disappear. Unfortunately, some secrets couldn’t be shown to everyone.
When she entered the house, Aunt Janet welcomed her.
"Good morning, Miss!"
Diamond smiled at Aunt Janet as she returned the greeting. "Good morning. How is everything at home?" her eyes darting around in search of her parents.
It was around noon and they were nowhere to be found.
Aunt Janet, seeing that Diamond was looking for her parents, felt amused inwardly and answered, "Everything is fine. Just that Sir and Madam left an hour ago. They said that they would be back before six," revealing Ma and Pa Perry’s whereabouts.
When she heard that, it suddenly dawned on her that she didn’t see the other car in the garage.
"Okay. Let me go to my room, then," she said. Since they weren’t here, she might as well go and freshen up.
Seeing her ready to leave, Aunt Janet stopped her as she said, "The gifts had been placed in the living room. You can take a look at them when you are done!" informing her of the gifts her parents brought with them yesterday.
When she heard that, her eyes lit up as she thought of what she received.
"Thanks, Aunty!" she said with a smile before leaving speedily.
She didn’t go to the living room but went to her bedroom first.
The gifts could wait. There was something that was urgent.
Seeing her leave, Aunt Janet helplessly shook her head before getting ready to go to the kitchen. However, before she could make a move, the rest of the girls appeared, and she was suddenly drowned in endless chatter.
It took her great effort to slip away from the excited girls. If the pot didn’t chime and complain, who knows how long she was going to be held by the girls?
Meanwhile, after the girls left Aunt Janet, they went to their rooms.
"Don’t forget to come out as soon as possible. We need to go!" Ruby didn’t forget to remind the twins as she looked at them with a solemn gaze.
The girls showed an okay sign motioning that they get it before they went into their room to prepare.
Ruby was very excited as she changed into another outfit.
It was the 16th finally and the day to collect the cake from the JEWELS.
Instead of going by herself, dragging the twins would be good. After all, it would be boring to stay at home.
Her sister might even be busy opening the presents, but she doubted that she would do so early.
It was better to go and get the cake.
Once she was done changing, she left her bedroom and met the twins, who were done changing as well.
The three of them took the elevator downstairs, talking happily.
When they saw Aunt Janet, Ruby said, "Aunty. If Diamond comes down and looks for us, just tell her that we went out. We will be back before six," without spilling too much.
Aunt Janet didn’t think too much and just acknowledged what was said before returning to the kitchen to continue preparing lunch.
Just because there won’t be many people at home didn’t mean that food needed to be canceled. Diamond alone could eat for a few people, so she wasn’t worried.
Besides, if the food isn’t finished. It could also be packed in boxes and eaten later.
Upstairs, Diamond had no clue of what Ruby and the twins were up to. She was in the closet looking at the mess in her closet.
There were too many clothes that she didn’t even need. That problem had tormented her yesterday and today it was on her mind again.
Looking at the clothes and then thinking of what she was going to broadcast later, an idea suddenly came to mind.
Her eyes sparkled as she thought of that, and all the worry suddenly lessened.
With a plan in mind, she was no longer that burdened.
But before pursuing that plan, she needed to prepare for a bit. So she busied herself for a while before heading downstairs.
When she got downstairs, she was told that Ruby and the twins had left. Hearing that, she accepted it.
The girls could go out and have fun. There was no need to keep them at home, after all.
Without them at all, it made it convenient for her to start what she wanted.
"Miss, food is ready. Should I serve it, now?" and Aunt Janet’s invitation came at the right time.
"Um. Serve it in the main living room," she answered, agreeing to the other.
Aunt Janet didn’t question the other but simply agreed. She wasn’t getting paid to ask much after all.
With Aunt Janet dealing with the food, Diamond went back upstairs and took out the drone from its case.
"Andy, dear, do what needs to be done!" she instructed as she held the drone in her hands.
{Sure, Mother!} Andrea responded, sounding in her ear.
Diamond smiled when she heard that. Moments later, the drone rose from her hands. Seeing it like that, she grabbed her tablet before she started leaving the bedroom.
Meanwhile, the drone was hovering in the air, following her while going invisible.
At the same time, notifications on Ioniq, Quetube, Acebook, I-Gram, Chitter, PikTok and GEM were sent, and they were all familiar.

That was done to give the followers ample time to prepare themselves.
Today’s broadcast was something that the fans knew. It’s just that the exact time of the broadcast wasn’t shared. So, giving them a few minutes to tell others was just right.
During this moment, Diamond had other things to deal with as well.
After getting downstairs, Aunt Janet had finished serving. After all, she was just serving three people. Diamond, Garnet and herself.
Diamond settled down in the main living room and turned on the projector. In such seconds, the wall showed four screens while her tablet showed a split screen.
Although she couldn’t read every single comment, she could pick a few and interact. The serious ones, Andrea would inform her through the earpiece. That’s how the two of them had been working seamlessly together for a while now.
All that remained was the broadcast start.
And while she waited for that, her lunch arrived, and the table was set.
Seeing the many dishes at the table, she swallowed her saliva anticipatorily.
Eating home-cooked meals was the best, after all.
No type of food could surpass that.
