From the system, she received five gifts. And all of them carried a weight which couldn’t be underestimated.
She received a Valkyrie sports car, a private jet, villa number 15 from Casa Palmera Complex, Moonridge apartment complex, and an alchemy grandmaster badge.
She started with the sports car. She looked into the car online and the results were quite baffling and very satisfying. The car was worth over twenty million. She didn’t know how much it would be by the time it reached her.
After all, it should be getting customized. This car would be probably the most expensive car she would own this year. And she couldn’t wait to have it.
She just needed to wait until May to get it.
The same was true for the jet, which would be delivered in June. This jet has a seating capacity of sixteen passengers. It was considered to be one large private jet. It would make it easy to travel to many places in the future.
This gift. She loved it so much.
The third gift was a villa from a new villa complex still under construction. She didn’t know how this complex would rank once it was done. However, the system had never failed her. She would check the villa properly when she had time.
Besides, in a month, the villa should be done. So, there was no need to hurry.
The fourth gift was the Moonridge apartment complex. Unlike the apartment block she received the first time, this time, she got several blocks of it.
The complex hadn’t started taking in tenants yet. And there were one hundred apartments. It was built in a nice neighborhood, so the rent will be higher. That was another chance to earn money there.
She wasn’t in a hurry to start taking in tenants. Her employees might well use this complex. She would check with her employees and see if they wanted houses. She would prioritize them first. However, if there aren’t any who are interested, she would then give the chance to the outsiders.
She couldn’t leave one hundred apartments without tenants. That would be a huge loss.
Talking about this complex, she remembered the other house she bought but only visited once. Since she didn’t have any plan of staying there, she might as well rent it out and let it earn some money.
As for the villa in the Garden View complex, it was still better to leave it for now. If she wanted to hang around with friends, that place might come in handy.
She still didn’t like having people come to Cherry Court. This place was her sanctuary. She didn’t want any problems arising.
The last gift was the alchemy grandmaster badge. The system stashed the hot potato in her hands.
By receiving such a badge, Diamond knew that keeping herself hidden in the shadows was no longer possible.
Seeing the badge in hand meant that some people high up in the government knew of her abilities and her information.
She didn’t want to expose herself to such people like that. It was easy to get taken advantage of.
Unfortunately, it was done already. Thinking about what the system had done for her so far, she waved a bit. There was no way that it would push her towards something that would hurt her.
If worse comes to worst, she would just take everyone into the Golden Space and disappear. It’s not like they would find her there.
Anyway, she brushed those thoughts away from her mind and concentrated on the information regarding this badge.
Apparently, she wasn’t the only person with abilities. There were several people all over the world, which she learnt when she knew of that place where she could see her pills and other things.
She suspected the existence of such people in her country when she saw the hidden passages beneath the Radiance manor.
These people were there but lived in seclusion without exposing themselves.
Receiving the badge, Diamond got access to the supernatural website, the legitimate site where people with superpowers or abilities interact or deal in trade without hiding from law enforcement.
She also got access to a secret platform which regulates people like her in Athary and she happened to hold one of the highest titles there.
In Athary, apparently, there were three alchemy grandmasters. Their names weren’t listed to protect their identities. When she saw that, she heaved a sigh of relief. It was already a hassle having a few people know what she was capable of. If the whole supernatural community knew of her existence with how people loved and were willing to do anything to get their hands on pills. Wouldn’t she be in trouble?
It was good to be anonymous.
She created an account and set her username as GEM. After going through everything that should be taken into account, she logged out. She didn’t have much she needed concerning the site.
There were several missions posted there. And the majority was related to the issue of pills. Some of the pills mentioned there. She hadn’t concocted them. Since she couldn’t provide them, she might as well focus on what matters.
However, as she logged out of these two platforms, a smile was on her face, as she thought of the wonderful benefit that came with joining such an organization.
She had become someone who was like an endangered species. The country as well as the organization would protect her as well as the people who matter to her in earnest, with everything at their disposal.
People like her were wanted everywhere. It was easy to migrate to other countries after getting offered lucrative deals.
To avoid that, the country as well as the organization would put effort into protecting her and giving in to her needs.
Although there was a price for getting such benefits, the benefits outweighed the losses.
As for the dangers to be met in the future because of joining such an organization, after all, while others mean good, there would be other people who would act as villains. She was going to deal with that in the future.
She was someone with mercenaries at her disposal. The ghost merchant team wasn’t there for play, after all.
Apart from them, there was Garnet, and if worse came to worst, she would act personally. She had mustered all arts now. She only needed to do some practical and take action.
With all the gifts checked, Diamond finally concluded the segment of checking the gifts.
With that sorted out, what remained now was having a good night’s rest.
She had something important to deal with tomorrow.
