Diamond continued to explain her ideas for the farm and she planned to start sowing seeds in early April and the latest in May. The temperatures were a bit high, and she believed that they might remain like that as well. As long as they are high, then planting maize during winter would not be a problem. But if it wasn’t like that, then planting other crops would do as well.
She couldn’t waste seeds for the sake of it, after all.
While talking about that, the gang moved to the construction site where two apartment buildings, or rather two three-floor buildings, were being built.
These would be the staff dormitories. She didn’t want people from the first farm to cross over to the second. The efficiency would decrease and she didn’t want that.
After seeing the second farm, the gang returned to the first farm.
Time had ticked by and it was getting late. And that meant returning home.
As for finishing the tour, they decided on another time.
However, Diamond told the guys.
"Whenever you feel like checking it out, just go over. Cain will help you!" making Mike feel reassured. He wanted to learn more from the farm he knew than from theory.
Before leaving the farm, Diamond gifted the boys a chicken and vegetables. Whether they would eat them themselves or give others, that wasn’t any of her problem.
On their way home, the group once again started conversing through the walkie-talkies.
"Diamond, how did you do it? Haven’t you ever regretted being in the spotlight?" Chris asked curiously through the coms.
Diamond, who was driving and still leading the convoy, chuckled lightly as she recalled how it wasn’t that easy when she started. But if she hadn’t done so, would she be the person she was today?
"Even if you know that it won’t be easy, you need to give it a try. If there are any regrets, it would be not doing it. Everything that we do we face criticism, but among such negative comments, there are positive ones as well.
Rather than minding other people’s opinions, I think that you need to consider what you want as a human being. Are you happy doing this? If you avoid this because you are afraid of this, who would you gain with that?
Even without doing anything, you can gain hatred. I am hated by so many people. These so-called celebrities, influencers and socialites, loathe my name. Why? Because some say I used a disgusting strategy, money to lure fans. But seriously, can a person worship one person all his life?
I can be a fan of A, B, C and D without pressure and still live peacefully. Some of these people, we aren’t even in the same industry and yet they continue buying marketing accounts to tarnish my name.
Some of these people leave disturbing comments on the farm website, accusing us of using chemicals and other addictive substances. The farm now has good relations with the authorities because once in a while they come over to check.
What did I do to these people for them to treat me that way?
Before you even answer that question, ask yourself first. What wrong did you do to be treated the way you are being treated now? Is it your fault that you were born?
While those who should feel embarrassed and be filled with guilt aren’t feeling like that, why should you, an innocent victim, suffer for it?"
Diamond felt angry the more she thought about it. Being around the boys even if it was just for hours. She got to like them a lot. Whoever plays with Wyatt isn’t a bad person.
Unfortunately, the world didn’t see it like that. She understood that these guys were being pressured by their background, and Wyatt was included as well. Otherwise, with such a genius mind, he wouldn’t t have hidden behind Nolan or even pretended that they weren’t partners but just friends.
Under the disguise of traveling, Wyatt would go around the world to deal with his businesses. Why was he doing so?
Because he was an illegitimate child and whatever he did, it would attract t attention from others. Why did he need to suffer for the sins of his parents?
The five guys were silent as Diamond said that. They didn’t need to be told or have someone explain to them what she was talking about.
She had touched a part of their life that had always been disturbing. However, with each passing day, they got so used to living like that they forgot.
Now that Diamond opens the wound like that, how could they not feel the pain?
Diamond not receiving a response didn’t feel bad or guilty. She knew that they had heard it. And as long as they did, they would think about it.
She didn’t want to be surrounded by cowards. In the future, when her polyamory status gets exposed, what would they do?
She needed to surround herself with trustable friends. And together they could help each other. And helping people like Mike and the rest, she felt like she could benefit better than when dealing with people like Raize.
At least if she helps Mike and the others, they would be sincere to her unless in the future they become successful and feel like she was a stain in their life. Even if she becomes a stain, none of them would be able to bring her down. She was very arrogant when it came to that matter.
She was pretty much confident.
"I might lack other things, but what I don’t lack is money. If you are short on funds and want to start something, then don’t hesitate to come to me. I will do my best to help you. However, I will only help those who can help themselves. If you are lazy and won’t put in any effort, then don’t waste your time trying.
I just hope that around this time next year, we will be laughing and talking about how much you have profited or succeeded in the previous year.
It doesn’t have to be anything grand, just something that you love. Even if you don’t love, you can hire other people to do it for you as well."
