After dinner, she drove back home and found her parents seated in the living room. They had already had dinner, so they were just resting.
Diamond joined them and shared with them what she experienced throughout the day.
However, Diamond, being herself, couldn’t help but act coy as she tugged her mother’s arm as she sat on the carpet.
"Mom, it was so tiring. These people kept on repeating the same questions. My head is buzzing!"
Ma Perry chuckled helplessly and tapped her nose playfully. "Don’t try to fool me. You think I don’t know you?"
Diamond pouted as she looked at her mother sulkily, knowing that she had been exposed before she could go anywhere.
Pa Perry watched the scene with a smile on his face. The ambience in the room was very nice.
After playing and making her parents laugh for a while, Diamond remembered another important matter.
"Mom and Dad, when will you be packing?" she asked curiously as she looked at them while blinking her eyes cutely.
Ma Perry looked at her daughter and ruffled her head playfully while answering, "Um, we will pack on the 2nd of April. We plan to fly on Monday."
Diamond heaved a sigh of relief when she heard that. It would be upsetting if they suddenly left without spending some quality time as a family.
Now that she thinks about it, apart from spending time at home, they barely went anywhere.
’It seems that this weekend, I need to grab Ruby and have our family have an outing or something!’ she thought to herself.
Sometime later, Diamond left the couple and headed to the study with Garnet, who gave her a detailed report on what she was working on.
It was also stressful to hear that the pellets she gave her were depleting at a shocking and scary rate.
Thinking about concocting more again, she felt a headache, but could only order Garnet to purchase more ingredients.
After her chat with Garnet, she went to her room, where she worked for a while inside the Golden Space.
With her body feeling as if a train had wrecked it, she soaked in the lake water and finally went to sleep.
The next day, she woke up with a smile and received a confusing reward; a set of lipsticks.
That was the first time the system gave her something strange like that. However, after applying one on her lips, a smile blossomed on her face, as she loved it.
It suited her lips pretty well. It made her lips look glossy and gave a matte sort of finish. She wouldn’t need to worry about smudging or causing her issues later.
She had breakfast with her family before they all went their separate ways.
Since she was going to the farm, she didn’t need to dress exaggeratedly. Rather than suits, she picked maxi dresses and flat shoes.
Today’s interviews were different from yesterday, as the reporters and the crew could move around recording and taking numerous photos of the farm facilities and all that.
Diamond didn’t talk about the second farm. If she did that, she was afraid of making five trips to the second farm. She didn’t have the energy to do something like that.
The questions were nearly similar to the ones for yesterday, however, others still managed to focus on the farm and business-related questions.
It was tiring, but quite fulfilling. By the time she was done, she let out a sigh of relief. She just wanted to take one good rest.
Unfortunately, there was no such thing as that.
After sending off the last crew, she and Cian visited the second farm. The dormitories were getting there and the dam’s water levels were promising. It was just a matter of time before the dam was full.
Since winter was coming, they would be planting winter crops and some autumn crops since winter comes after autumn. However, all that would depend on when the dam would be full.
If it gets full sooner, then autumn crops would be planted, but if it’s later, then winter crops.
After checking everything at the farm, the sun was setting, and it was time for her to return home.
Diamond had visited the farm several times in less than two weeks, so she didn’t plan to come back anytime soon. There were other places which needed her.
If Cian needs something, he would know how to contact her.
When everything was settled at the farm, she drove her SUV away and headed home.
On the way home, she listened to Andrea as he reported to her about the schedule.
With the interviews done, there were still others that she needed to take care of.
For example, tomorrow, she was supposed to meet with Tiana, the Pace sportswear chairwoman, regarding the matter of the endorsement. They needed to sign as soon as possible.
Andrea was urging her to sign quickly. The company had been benefiting from her earlier advertisement and she didn’t get a single cent from it.
Since she didn’t plan to do any other activities during the weekend, dealing with the signing tomorrow would suffice.
So, she had Andrea send an email to Tiana to prepare everything.
After the event, she planned to have a chat with the JEWELS on the GEM app and talk in detail regarding the Country Y situation. Her VISA hadn’t come out yet, but it would be soon.
She needed to find a time to go there as soon as possible.
After that, on the 30th and 31st, there would be the ZOOM races which she promised Wyatt to attend.
She once promised the members that she would join, but until now, she hadn’t done a single thing.
So, this would be a great chance for her to see what this family was like.
She didn’t mind racing as well and let the racing enthusiasts see for themselves how great the Aclerean was.
On the 31st, it was an important day. She planned to celebrate the first anniversary of owning a system.
She would be counting down the remaining years and the thought of not having the system after four more years made her feel gloomy for a moment. Thankfully, she got Andrea, who wouldn’t leave her no matter what the circumstances.
