The next day, Diamond woke up early, feeling refreshed. It’s been a while since she slept that long without interrupting her nights. So, she was in a good mood.
She went for her morning jog and returned to the villa where she came across everyone who was wide awake. A very rare occasion in the villa.
After greeting everyone, she returned to her room, where she showered and found a nice outfit for the day.
When all was done, she went downstairs to join her family and everyone was gathering.
It was finally the day when Ma and Pa Perry were leaving for Taco Town. Their flight was at ten o’clock that morning, so they all needed to leave as early as possible.
Being a Monday, Ruby wouldn’t be sending the couple to the airport as she had classes and Garnet had other issues to take care of at work, thus leaving Diamond with the honors.
"Mom and Dad, travel safe and don’t forget to tell me when you are home, okay?" while they were eating, Ruby said coyly as she blinked cutely at the two.
Ma Perry looked dotingly at her and ruffled her head playfully as she responded, "I will tell you. And don’t forget to concentrate on your studies.!"
After breakfast, Ruby hugged Ma and Pa Perry goodbye before entering her car to go to school. She left under everyone’s watch and Garnet was next.
After that, Diamond and the two got into the Arcadelle SUV and left as well.
In front and at the back of the Arcadelle, there were other SUVs with bodyguards and some of them belonged to the parents.
Since they were returning home, the bodyguards were following as well.
On their way there, Diamond and the couple chatted merrily.
"Dad, when you buy the farm, don’t forget to tell me. I will fly over there and help deal with the water issue," she said to him, smilingly.
Pa Perry nodded with a smile, happy to hear that. He had seen the two dams at Diamond’s farm. He didn’t know how she did it and how she was able to keep the dam water levels that high. He wasn’t going to ask, since he knew that his daughter had a lot of secrets.
Sometimes, it was better not knowing. Moreover, as long as she wasn’t doing anything immoral, it wasn’t his turn to ask too much.
"I will tell you when that happens."
The journey to the airport was very smooth, and they got there on time. Diamond followed the parents to check in and once she had settled everything, she chatted with them for a while before saying her goodbyes.
She still had other things to do. Besides, that wasn’t farewell for good. They would still see each other. So, there was no need to act that sad.
Moreover, there was a reason why she needed to leave her parents that fast. The person who was bringing her deeds was waiting for her at the airport. So, she needed to meet with the other.
After leaving her parents, she went to the parking lot and directed the man who had been sent to where her car was.
When she saw the other person, her brows rose in wonder, and she couldn’t help but size the other a bit.
She could sense the immense power oozing from him, and yet he looked so lean. It made it impossible for anyone to guess that inside that body was such immense power.
There were indeed hidden dragons and crouching tigers everywhere.
While she was observing the other, the man was also sizing her. It was the first time that he was seeing a grandmaster at such close range and she didn’t look like one.
However, he understood that underestimating others had led to severe consequences in their line of work, so he was cautious.
Diamond wasn’t planning on entertaining the man that much. She wanted her goods and then left to meet with her fans. The clock was ticking, and she didn’t have time for complicated things.
Once she confirmed who the other party was, she received a thick envelope, which she opened straight away and took a look at what was inside.
With her eidetic memory, she quickly captured every single term and condition, every single word typed there and found everything pleasing to the eye.
That piece of land was officially hers.
After confirming the land deeds, she signed the form the man brought.
"Take this. It will be of great help!" before the man alighted from the car, she gave him a body-strengthening pill nonchalantly and the man was shaken.
Diamond smiled kindly at him and left the airport, leaving the man remaining rooted on the spot, completely in a daze.
What she didn’t know was as soon as the man got his bearings back, he made a call directly to the chief and reported what had just happened. The chief gave the man a response, which made him smile and relieved that he was given the mission.
"It’s yours. Do whatever you want with it!"
After hearing such good news. How could he not be happy and look at Diamond in a new light?
The person in question was on her way to one of the Hope Lounge Cafes, where she was going to meet with the fans. She chose for the charity event they would be having on the fifth.
She hadn’t met a lot of fans in person and had quality time with them.
The first time was when she collected her passport and spent time with them at the nearby park.
The second time was when she was at the airport leaving for Gesalsi and chatted with those four university students for a while before boarding the plane. And this meeting would make it the third.
This time would be more meaningful, so she was looking forward to it. Moreover, among the fans she picked, there was one super fan who was part of the fans who brought gifts for her for her birthday.
She was looking forward to seeing her so much.
If things go well, this fan might become an important member of the committee as well as her studio when it opens.
She needed to observe her closer.
