It was like a tsunami lapped through my body at his hot words, gods my cheeks were overly flushed, I took everything he said word for word, the gravity of his words hit me hard, I found myself crumbling with desire, my core wet and sticky from a number of seconds, my body hot inside like I might burn and as if not enough, he nibbles my earlobe pouring hot breath into my ear. "Thank you, Celeste," I said with a warm smile.
Others came too to congratulate me, it just went on and on, Nicklaus and I didn’t have an alone time again, I was left with torture, still tortured by the things he said to me, my core ached with need and I was on the edge and out of control. Nicklaus’ hand moving on my back wasn’t helping, it was just a sign of affection but it called for something more because I was overly sensitive right now and tried to resist thinking anything that would set me off. I tried focusing on the people coming up to the throne to congratulate me. When will this end?
"Thank you", I said, replying to them with a smile and then they bowed too and smiled before leaving.
For a few hours now, Nicklaus has been awfully quiet so I peaked at him at the corner of my eyes, he seemed composed after the sexual frustration he has put me through, damn him! My eyes followed as he grabbed a berry bringing it to his lips and taking a bite from it, in my head I WAS the berry, and the juices of it resting on his lips I suddenly wanted to wipe it off with my tongue. "Congratulations to you Empress", I quickly turned to smile at the vampire that greeted me with a bow.
I desperately wanted this banquet to end NOW! But it was traditional I accepted all their greetings, gods I can’t wait any longer.

Nicklaus faced me back, taking my hand as we rose to our feet, and then I knew.
"Bartholomew will handle the rest of the guests," he told me. I was about to say something but he already faced the crowd.
"Thank you all for coming, for your gifts and wishes, Bartholomew shall receive them in our place"
