“Sasha, how are you feeling?”
Sasha gave a little laugh to my question and replied.
“I’m doing fine. My Lord, you’re too worried about me.”
“My bad. I just can’t help but be worried about my dear wife. Am I a bother?”
“N- Not at all! Rather, for my Lord to think of me so often, it makes me really… really happy…”
Sasha, if you say that so bashfully, my thoughts can’t help but turn pink… Just who is this precious woman!? You could search the entire world for another soon-to-be mother and not find one like her! No, that’s not quite it. She’s the world’s cutest… no, she’s my exclusive national treasure!
Despite thinking such things, I kept control of myself and gently laid my hand on Sasha’s abdomen.
“It’s only a short while longer before we welcome you to this world, little one.”
“Ah-! The child just kicked. My Lord, I think they’re happy to see you.”
Sasha smiled and giggled a little. Seeing Sasha’s belly expanded due to pregnancy, and knowing that our child will be born soon, I unconsciously smile.
“My Lord, you look so happy.”
“I’m glad. Thanks to Sasha, our family’s increasing. I’ll be sure to do my best for this child’s sake, for Laurier’s sake, and of course, for my beautiful wife’s sake.”
Sasha expressed a little worry at those words.
“My Lord… please don’t overwork yourself.”
“Of course.”
“Geez… It’s because my Lord always smiles like that to deceive me that I’m worried.”
Sasha puffed out one of her cheeks and gave a cute pout. To such a Sasha, I somehow held myself back and instead, with a light hug, I spoke to her.
“Okay. I won’t overdo it anymore. It’s just, to be honest, I’m a little jealous of our child.”
“J- Jealous?”
“Yeah… This child gets to spend so much time with Sasha. Of course, they’re my cute child, but I can’t help but envy them. Are you disillusioned with me now?”
To those words, Sasha blushed a little and frantically denied it.
“N- no, rather… I’m a little happy…”
“Ehehe…” Sasha shyly laughed. Oh dear… she’s so cute! I don’t know how I’m doing it, but I’m somehow controlling myself. Just what is this precious thing!? I’ve already had to endure for so many months, so if you do that, just how do you expect me to keep holding back?
Of course, I love spending time comfortably with Sasha like this, but if a man doesn’t occasionally release their desire, it’s dangerous… However, because embracing a woman other than Sasha is impossible, I have to be patient.
