The morning after Dante-san arrived at the Sanctuary, it was decided that I would immediately show him around the Sanctuary.
Freesia-san looked after Etoile in my mansion as if it was the most natural thing to do.

When I told him about the amount of money that comes and goes in a year, his face paled.

There’s a lot of jobs, so I decided to show him around the Sanctuary and see everything before making him decide.
The first place I brought Dante-san to did not suit him.
「This is the fishing and salt-making section.」

First, the area that runs along the beach where the mermaids reside.
The Mermaids were in the fishing and salt industry.
I didn’t think it was unnatural for Elves to go fishing, but it appears it was rare in Yggurle Kingdom. I did hear about it from Sophia, but apparently, Yggurle Kingdom didn’t eat fish very much.
Well, they were freshwater fish that live in rivers, ponds and lakes, so there might have been something about them.
The next place I led him to was the agricultural sector where many of the Sanctuary residents work in.
The children waved their hands when they saw me.
The children who were now able to work were working.
「Fumu, I worked the fields in the Sylphide territory too so it should be no problem.」
「Is that so? That would be worth it especially because the crops grow very well here thanks to Dryas and Undine.」
On the way to the next place I was going to show to him, Dante-san’s mood fouled. He saw Vanga-san walking in the opposite direction.
「Ah, Vanga-san. Are you on your way back from hunting?」
「Oh Takumi, this is what I got today.」
Vanga-san lifted the rabbit he caught.
「Hee~ so you caught three of them.」
「Yeah, it is thanks to the Great Spirits that prey are aplenty. That sour face beside you looks irritated again.」
Vanga-san and Dante-san really don’t have good compatibility. They continued to glare at each other and walked away.
I greeted and said goodbye to Vanga-san and hurriedly chased after Dante-san.
「Vanga-san is a hunter. His wife Martha-san cultivates the fields and does needlework.」
「I’m going to have to refuse working the same job as that guy.」
