And perhaps being influenced by Dante-san, who would have thought that Freesia-san would decide to learn housework from Maria, our maids, and from House Sylphide’s long-standing employee, Luna-san.
When I asked Sophia what that was all about, she said that her mother apparently wanted to show Etoile her good side.
I think it would be another two years before Etoile could have the ability to understand what’s around her, but apparently, she was going to start practicing bit by bit from now on.
「It seems Mother thinks that if she just dotes on her, she would be no different from Madam Lumia.」
「She’s a grandmother, so I think it’s fine just doting on them.」
Setting aside the issue of just how long the Queen would be in the Sanctuary, it’s not just Madam Lumia but Mimir-sama also dotes on Etoile quite a bit.
Because of their longevity, Elves very rarely have the opportunity to interact with babies. Because of this, they were extremely partial to Etoile who was born to our family.
Moreover, despite being unskilled with any and all household chores starting with cooking, Sophia wanted to make baby food herself and started practicing together with Maria and Marnie.
It seems it was then that Freesia-san grew flustered.
She couldn’t stomach being the lazy grandmother.

Sophia’s face reddened.
She looked ashamed and embarrassed, but it’s true that I am glad.
Sophia’s cooking skills were catastrophic so she wasn’t able to contribute much, but it makes me happy that she wants to take on this challenge.
Also, baby food doesn’t need to be seasoned like normal dishes, so I think Sophia might be able to do so.

Etoile, Haruka, and Flora had just been fed milk so they were now sleeping.
At this stage, the babies sleep or breastfeed in a short cycle, so it’s been tough on the maids.
Sophia, Maria, and Marnie most notably take care of them, but I also try my best to help change diapers or feed bottled milk whenever I can.

By the way, I also had high skill levels in those skills, but even way back when I was a salaryman, I had been cooking food for myself for a reasonable number of years, so I cooked normally.
「I hate to say it, but in the your family, Dante-san and Freesia-an worked in the fields themselves, didn’t they? Housework and chores were often entrusted to Vault-san and Luna-san.」
