Jiang Xiaoqing was just relieved to have heard that when Gu Nian turned and saw Luo Xiu walking over with his suitcase behind him. A smiled appeared on her again and she flew over in Luo Xiu's direction cheerfully.
Her voice that Jiang Xiaoqing heard was happy beyond words. "Would you like some help with that?"

She was already at the terminal state of being a son-con. Nothing could bring her back now.
Luo Xiu stopped and looked down at her. With a slightly smile, he said to her, "You are a lady. Shouldn't I be the one helping you instead?"
"You are an actor and I am, em, I am your temporary assistant," said Gu Nian in all seriousness. "So it should be me who is helping you."
"Sounds like we are about to go into a circular logic." Smiling lightly, Luo Xiu said, "Why don't you take mine and I will take yours. We will be even then?"

Gu Nian spent one second to arrive at the conclusion that there was nothing heavy in her suitcase and immediately agreed to it. Nevertheless, when she took the suitcase from Luo Xiu, she quickly realized that she had made a mistake.
"How is it that your suitcase is lighter than mine?" Gu Nian lifted up the dull gray suitcase with uncertainty. The weight made her wonder if there was even anything inside the suitcase at all.
Luo Xiu smiled, "Zhu Hanyu had taken most with him yesterday."
Gu Nian, "……" What a mistaken on her part.
Gu Nian, "Perhaps we should switch them back––"
Luo Xiu was already walking forward with the girl's white suitcase in his hand. His voice that reached her was low, dull, and with a hint of smile in it. "No."
Gu Nian had no choice but to quickly catch up to him.
Because of their exchange, Gu Nian and Luo Xiu were the last two of the group. By the time they had walked out of the hotel, Gu Nian noticed that most of the others hadn't gone too far. Many had slowed down and some almost came to a complete stop when they pointed at a car that was parked on the side of the street.
That included Qin Yuanyuan and Jiang Xiaoqing from the screenwriter team.
Gu Nian didn't care about the others but she cared some about those two. Walked over to the two with the gray suitcase in hand, Gu Nian stuck her head out and asked, "Why are you two standing here instead of getting into the bus?"

The two, startled by the sudden voice, turned around at the same time.
Seeing that it was Gu Nian, Jiang Xiaoqing let out a sigh of relief. With an exaggerated tone, she said to Gu Nian, "Hurry up and look! It's not everyday that you see something like this!"
Gu Nian, "?"
Looking over in the direction where Jiang Xiaoqing was pointing at, Gu Nian saw a man in a formal suit standing on the little town's not-too-wide road with his hands by his side.
The noon sun, reflecting off the high-quality paint of the dark black car behind him, moved like water.
Gu Nian looked at it for two seconds and turned back numbly. "Okay, I've seen. Now what?"
Jiang Xiaoqing, "What do you mean by now what! Did you see the emblem on the car?"
"Yeah. I don't recognize it."
Jiang Xiaoqing, "……"
Jiang Xiaoqing rubbed her face with her hand and, with mixed feelings, said to her, "This is the top luxurious band among all cars. Their specialty is high-end products. All of them crazy expensive. Any one of their cars cost upward of 7 digits and the top product line of this series run close to 8 digits!"

Being stared at by Jiang Xiaoqing, Gu Nian thought about it some and finally, for a change, had some sort of a response, "Yeah."
Jiang Xiaoqing was delighted. "Right?? So, what are your thoughts? Did you want to find out who's the boss behind this? And wanted to take any possible opportunities to run up to him and seduce him, barring that he wasn't too old or too disgusting looking, and nail him??"
"……"
Jiang Xiaoqing's voice was somewhat emotional and Luo Xiu, who was a few steps behind Gu Nian, also heard it. He slowed down and his eyes behind his spectacles looked up at Gu Nian.
Nothing that Gu Nian could say would change his mind but it might change his approach.
