I wasn't able to get back Son-Raising 1.0 the entire time during the filming. It would seem that I will not be able to reunite with it again in this lifetime.
I'm sorry Son-Raising, for the sake of keeping your mother's alias a secret, I am going to have to sacrifice you. T^T
I have been up and down the night market in the last couple of nights and still wasn't able to find another brown notebook that looked like Son-Raising 1.0. Aye. That color looked so much like my precious son's eye color. What a bummer.
Welp, I guess this one will have to do for now. I will take good care of you this time, 2.0!
Son-Raising tips of the month:
(1) To make up for last month's deficiency and pray that my precious son's show will be a big hit, I will take my down time and go visit Daoci Temple this Saturday to pray for my precious son!
(2) I will need to give Ms. Gu Yuan a call and have her check with the herbalist that she always visits for any good prescriptions for stomach issues.

Gu Nian stopped half way through.
She picked up her phone that was vibrating next to her and the indicator indicated that it was a call from Hurry Up and Get Down on Your Knees for This Decree. That made her heart skip a beat.
Gu Nian was dazed for a little bit.
That was odd. She hadn't done anything wrong other than deleting her arranged date. So why was it that she felt a guilty conscience when she saw a call from Gu Yuan?
Gu Nian picked up the phone in a trance when she couldn't figure out the reason behind it. "Mom?"
Gu Yuan's voice was a little low. "What is up with you?"
"Huh? What do you mean what is up?"
"Had it not been your Aunty Zhang who loves surfing the web, I wouldn't even find out today that––" Gu Yuan's voice raised a little, then came back down. "You…… that incident about Mengzhi and all the ruckus that it had caused since last Monday. Did you post that?"
"Oh, that? Yeah, that was me."
"What were you thinking? Haven't we agreed to let bygone be bygone. Us live people should not be bogged down by one issue –– Why did you stir it all up again?"
Gu Nian sighed lightly, "Don't worry about it, Mom. I know what I am doing and I will take good care of myself. Besides, as you have seen, I have not brought anything up."
Gu Yuan, "I saw it. I know that you feel unreconciled but Mom doesn't need you to be famous and overly successful. Mom only wants you to live your live…… sometimes mediocre is true happiness."

Gu Nian stressed on that and then, looking at the notebook that was laying in front of her, her eyes curved. "Besides, in addition to my own drive within myself, I also have an external goal."
Gu Yuan, "Oh? What goal is that?"
Gu Nian chuckled as she leaned into her chair. "A secret. I'm not telling you."
Gu Yuan, probably sensing that Gu Nian's tone was not forced, let out a sigh of relief and even teased her. Gu Nian didn't hear what Gu Yuan had said as Jiang Xiaoqing's voice came from outside of the door at the same time ––
"Gu Nian, are you ready?"
"Almost." Gu Nian turned back to the phone. "I am heading to the temple to pray with my roommates today. I'll call you back when I am back?"
"It's fine. There's only one more thing I want to talk about. You can go after that. And don't call me back. I am going to play mahjong with you Third Aunty."
Gu Nian didn't know what to make of that. "Okay, go ahead."
Gu Nian figured that Gu Yuan couldn't possibly have anything serious to talk about. Most likely it was about another arranged day or something along that line.
As such, she got up from her seat and was about to gather what she needed to bring with her to the temple.
That was when she heard Gu Yuan asking in an uncertain tone after a few seconds of hesitation, "That boy who took you back to your room at the hotel last time really isn't your boyfriend?"
